  1. Let me know your thoughts on the Coyotes Off-Season, is the arena situation more important than roster moves?

  2. WOWsa!! Where to begin with the Coyotes ? This franchise is a hot mess, for certain. IMHO, the arena situation is # 1 concern–they have got to work out a long-term viable solution if Bettman is committed to keeping hockey in Arizona, otherwise, the best move would be to relocate them elsewhere, like Quebec City, Houston, or Kansas City. Question is " who's staying during the rebuild and who's going?" I suspect they will tender the RFA's and of the UFA's, I would imagine they let Kessel walk, the only ones i see them retaining are Sateri and Beagle , the rest may resign but not likely. Sadly, the Coyotes are destined to be bottom-feeders for a few more seasons before any positive trending occurs, IMHO.

  3. lets be honest this team should be relocated. I feel sorry for players been drafted by this terrible franchise

  4. I could see the Coyotes "winning the draft lottery" this offseason for the 1st overall pick.

  5. You mean M Mishkov didn't you? In the same draft as Bedard right. The guy that outscored both Wright and Bedard when Team Canada won the Gold and he beat both.

  6. I would like to see players not report to AZ and call out the NHL for ever letting it get this bad. I think all NHL players should be on playing in real NHL stadiums!

  7. As a coyotes fan, i would probably stop watching the nhl without them. Admittedly, ownership has made mistakes since Burke signed the original deal at america west arena (at the time.) we finally have an owner that is willing to put in the effort to run things properly and peoples wants to quit on them (so those same peoples can have the team relocate to their city.) so maybe people dont want to give them credit. Fine. That's your opinion. Lets see what happens if the yotes get the new arena, actually charge an average ticket price and develop/draft some good prospects and i dont know…keep them for a change. Aside from the ownership fiasco that has happened the biggest problem has been on ice product. I dont care where you play if you dont put on a good product the fans wont show (see Florida, Tampa, etc. while they were bottom feeders.) the coyotes have not drafted well enough consistently and haven't developed well either for too long. They are finally starting to hit with some regularity (despite horrible luck in the lottery,) have the personnel to continue to hit in the future and are finally getting ownership to not have a 12 month deadline before they just pull the plug and want to sell and you give up… What would have happened to the patriots if they just have up after 30 years of mediocre results? What about the red wings of the 70s 80s and early 90s? Just saying give the guy a chance with a plan other than "first thing goes wrong and i am done"

  8. I am so sorry, I have to say this, by half of this off-season Arizona will be gone before you know it and I am being very honest right now

  9. Everyone saying “relocate the team!” seems to have forgotten that other teams have struggled and then thrived. In fact, the Penguins have filed for bankruptcy not once, but twice, and only survived that season because the players agreed to defer their salaries. New ownership and new GM are moving in the right direction. Wait and see how the arena situation plays out before relocating.

  10. I feel for Arizona fans, their ownership sucks.

Contrary to popular belief, hockey can work in Arizona (look at attendance when they were good), but not if the team is run like a budget circus show

  11. I remain hopeful, the arena just needs to be approved. Doesn’t really matter to me that they’re playing in a college arena, we’re rebuilding anyway. Let’s go Yotes!

  12. what's next for the coyotes??? paying off the politicians in tempe so they get what they want…..

  13. Coyotes are a failed corrupt business that nearly bankrupted Glendale. Now they want a socialist taxpayer bailout. Lets send them packing.
