  1. Hey folks, here are my quick notes from what I saw at Dev Camp! Hope you enjoy the highlights. Fire away with any questions etc!
    –––
Ridly Greig was the most relaxed person on the ice; calm and confident

Tyler Boucher is a presence out there. He had an ongoing battle with Lavoie and came out on top every single time. Good shot too.

Zack Ostapchuk moves so well for a big guy

Interesting that Jakov Novak is in camp but Jonny Tychonick is not 🤔

Ben Roger looked allergic to the puck

Wanted to see more from Oliver Johansson and Philippe Daoust ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    (2022 picks)
Jorian Donovan is an excellent skater

Meanwhile, Tomas Hamara came dead last in both of the skating endurance drills

Stephen Halliday looked great with the puck and was hamming it up with fans while in the line for drills – you love to see it

Cameron O'Neill can really move out there, I'm going to keep a close eye on him this season

Tyson Dyck was solid and scored a couple of nice goals in tight

    (Goalies)
Kevin Mandolese was in a class of his own, which is what you'd hope to see

Kevin Reidler looked very raw. Thought he was going to puke after the second skating drill; stayed down in the fetal position for a while.

    (Camp invites)
Kyle McDonald was one of the best players on the ice

Charles-Alexis Legault dominated the skating endurance drills – Sean Donovan & Jesse Winchester made sure to give him props after

Zakary Lavoie had a TOUGH outing. Got bloodied by a high hit from Greig and spent about as much time on the ice as any goalie.

Overall, it was amazing to be able to see Dev Camp in person again for the first time since 2019!

These are all just short observations based on a 75-minute practice, so take them with that in mind.

Thanks for reading and fire away with questions and comments!
