  1. They all talk about the goalie missing the pass on the second Montreal goal, but did the d-man forget how to cover their man? the guy he left the goal scorer to attempt to hit was already being covered. Also on the 4th Montreal goal, how can the ref see that the puck isn't covered, its on the opposite side of the goalie.

  2. I loved Sheifele before but now I hate him WHAT a jerk loser move to he very evens bad. screw you if you do that on purpose in a game that you know you lost

  3. That was a awesome hit!! Again keep your head up playing hockey at all times!

  4. I find it difficult to see either team competing with the likes of Tampa Bay or the Bruins because they seem to lack play making skills. I don't see any tic tac toe passes and you need that to compete with the big wheelers in my opinion.

  5. So we are not going to talk about Stanley lifting the elbow on Perry before staal's goal ?

  6. perfect example why I stopped watching hockey, its such a wuss sport now, clean hit and guy gets a suspension. Can't wait until players get assault charges by the police when they fight on the ice

  7. Everybody talking about the dirty hit on Evans but there was an elbow hit to the face of Perry on the second MTL goal that seemed dirtier even tho it didn't seem to injure Perry like Evans.

  8. Don't like getting hit? Or watching people get hit? Then don't watch hockey. Evans comes around the net, head down, and in possession of the puck. So, he got hit, which is only appropriate. He was one hundred percent intent on getting that goal, and Scheifele was one hundred percent intent on hitting him. It's what I expect to see when I tune in to watch the game. Until there is a whistle, and at least one second of time has passed since said whistle, Evans is entirely liable to get hit. When an unstoppable force meets an immoveable object, exciting things happen. Sometimes the result is good, sometimes it's bad…regardless it's sufficiently exciting to compel me to actually bother to watch. If the NHL, sports commentators, and keyboard warriors want to neuter the game of hockey, this is of course all of y'all's choice entirely. However, when knee-jerk over-emotional assessments (of how the game is played) are now used to determine how policy is made, will that cause viewership to increase or decrease? Hey, I know! Let's get rid of hitting and fighting altogether! Yes. This will certainly keep people entertained (sarcasm). Warning: less viewers equals less money. With less money available, will anyone be interested in playing this game at a professional level? I have my doubts.

  9. This was a good game. 4 goals scored in the 1st period (3 by Montreal and 1 by the Jets). In the 3rd period the Jets showing heart by cutting the lead down to 1 twice, but unfortunately none of that will get remembered about this game and of course we all know why.

  10. man that ***hole Scheifele, he clearly aimed the head on purpose… Luckily Evans is fine, but S. would have had real problems if the injuries were more serious. And that goal from Suzuki was pure beauty, he's such a promising player!

  11. Sheesh Canada get some fans in here. The environment at the other games is absolutely electric!

  12. That was a sick goal by Jake Evans at the end of the game, epic way to end the game. At least he scored, 1 more than Mitch Marner

  13. I hope evans gets well but KID NEEDS TO KEEP HIS HEAD UP. And apparently in the AHL he would keep his head down too.

  14. Has a true Habs fan since I can remember born 1972 this great hockey!! Regardless of the outcome of this final face-off Canadiens is impressive
