  1. Blackhawks are tanking for bedard. Still couldve got more for those 2 guys tho

  2. The Hawks didn't get screwed. It's not like Ottawa screwed them. The Hawks screwed themselves. But moreso, the Hawks screwed us fans.

  3. I do not like this rebuild. It took Chicago 10-15 years to rebuild and become competitive after many draft mistakes. The Coyotes and Sabres rebuilding is never over.

  4. As a Chicago fan who has watched Dach first hand, that was a gift to get that first round pick for him. Good riddance. Soft, clumsy big man? Pass

  5. I actually think the Blackhawks did well for the Dach trade I really didnt expect them to get a top 15 pick for Dach

  6. I accepted DeBrincat was gone a while ago. I accepted Dach probably won’t pan out a while ago. Despite me hoping otherwise. But at this point, I’m just happy it’s done. I’m happy we are OFFICIALLY doing a rebuild. It’s not just something we say they are doing, and then expect them to try and get a good roster and be middle of the pack with guys like DeBrincat and Dach on the team, instead of be terrible like they need to be to GENUINELY rebuild. We need new faces.

Idc what value we go back. I don’t care that it’s not enough. The most value we got, was the value we traded away from the on ice roster to make us a worse team, guaranteeing us having a 1st-6th overall pick in future seasons. You get franchise altering players in those ranges. That’s what we need.

  7. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ I’m so happy I’m not a Chicago fan if I was I would probably stop watching hockey

  8. It wasn’t only Chicago that got screwed over. Kirby got screwed hard by being traded to Montreal.

  9. A 40 goal scorer who is young and you do not get a 1st round pick and a couple of 2nd round and/or established prospects in return ?!?!?!?! Dach for only picks lower than he was picked?!?! I would fire eveyone in the management on the spot. Chigago will not be relevant in any way for the next 10+ years with this management. Keep the old guys and gift the young talented players for a rebuilt?!?!?!?!?!?! WTF this is not even at the level of any amateur General Manager. I cannot comprehend. I hope they can see the future. Anyways, as a Montreal fan…… THANKS

  10. Their tanking for next years draft there is no other explanation on why they sold so low

  11. Blackhawks wanna tank so bad. Got rid of Hagel and suter too last season

  12. Strange that they would trade away their young players during a rebuild… They did bring a number of picks back in return, but the draft picks are also underwhelming (maybe that is the bigger problem).

  13. You can’t rebuild a team with a guy who is gonna command 9 mil in debrincat and don’t blame them for trading dach, he wasn’t their player and totally disagree, to get a top 15 pick for a guy that hasn’t panned the way fans thought he would in chicago is a great return amd let’s not forget the hawks started draft day with no picks to three picks in the first round. Without debrincat signing an extension getting that top ten pick is massive and can’t blame management for trading a player they weren’t necessarily married too and got a lot of value in return.

  14. If they are tanking for Bedard, then they better thank Det for getting rules changed after we had the worst record and didn't get the 1st overall. Don't know why they didn't try to move Toews or Kane and keep the younger guys.

  15. Caufield Suzuki Anderson
    Drouin Doche slaf
    Gally davorak hoffman
    Byron evans armia
    Petry edmonsun
    Widman gulhe
    Barron Harris
    Hmmm 🤔

  16. I'll Give GM Kyle Davidson A Bit Of A Pass, Since He's Reversing All Of The Salary Cap Nightmares That The Chicago Blackhawks Are In Because Of Stan Bowman. LOL. But, It's Only A Pass Because Of That. I Guess His Logic Is, If Chicago Is Going To Suck Anyway, He Might As Well Get Rid Of As Many Salaries As He Can. LOL

  17. Cat trade is disappointing but I would be lying if I said getting Korchinski made me upset. Kinda wish we got Savoie but Korchinski was my third best Dman in the draft. He’s got great offensive upside and they are actually going to let him develop. The Dach trade after watching him for 3 years is a steal. Habs can be as excited about him as they want thinking he’s gonna be a big bodied strong 2 way center. He’s not unfortunately. That why we moved him. To get Nazar for him is exciting.

  18. Kane wants all time Blackhawk point record, Toews is dust and can’t be moved, hawks want to Tank and get their best crack at Bedard.

  19. I have no idea what Chicago was thinking. At this point who even knows what value of anyone is around the league.

  20. I'm guessing the draft next year is considerably stronger than this year and might be considered one of the more stacked drafts in the recent years for them to get as many first rounders as they can get. I too am surprised at the trade Ottawa made but looks like the hawks like what they see in the next draft. Even if they don't get first overall.

  21. Turning Kirby dach into frank nazar is a win in my book. And korchinski is a big offensive defenseman that could be a first line/power play QB. Kane will ask for a trade this Wednesday. You can argue Kane should’ve been traded before the draft for more picks but he’s still going to be on a better team and Chicago will get prospects and picks. I can tell you aren’t from Chicago and haven’t watched every game since he was drafted but Kirby had his confidence ruined by their terrible front office being forced into the NHL before he was ready. Playing next to Kane and barely scoring isn’t a good look. I loved both of them. I have both of their “first NHL game” signed pucks. That being said I’m not crying in the corner or overly upset. I’ll miss debrincat for sure but I’m waiting to see how these players pan out before I make a knee jerk reaction (like this video) the hawks also have Lucas Reichel and some other young talented prospects. I respect your opinion, I just think it’s wrong. But who knows! Let’s revisit this video in 3-4 years. Great content btw. Don’t mean to sound argumentative

  22. Is it even worth watching next season?Maybe I’ll just watch the home games. I don’t know, this is gonna be painful

  23. I think the Trades are Great. They turned 2 players into 5. Sure the Cat can score but he always has a minus +/-. The Hawks biggest problem is giving up Goals. They Got a Big Dman and a Skilled Center and a 3rd rd pick in a projected deep 2024 draft for a one dimensional player. Nazar is an upgrade for Dach. Plus a 39. Only get 7, 13, 39 and 66? Come on man. Plus you belabor the Hawks Keeping Toews and Kane. Um they have no movement clauses. Plus the Hawks reached on an 18 Yr old high school kid Kid Dman with another 1st rd pick. However to get that pick all they gave up was a 2nd rd pick to Toronto and they also got a Goalie. So they actually only reached with a 2nd rd pick and got a Goalie. You are also Lamenting the Dach brother trade. Well that was the former GM. Gotta put that behind. I like the moves. A Rebuild is not for Next year. It is for the Future.

  24. Debricat is overrated and is not in the same level as Matthews or Laine for example. Senators need to stop overpaying there players like the rat Thankhuk!

  25. Let’s just say I use to be a Chicago fan. 😔 rip to all my great childhood memories of stanly cup playoffs.

  26. I actually love the return for Dach.

I'm a Dach supporter (rip my RR 77 jersey) but it was mostly based in wishful thinking. Having watched 65-70% of games he has no idea how to play in the offensive end. I think he's underrated defensively and his puck protection sometimes looks really strong but he whiffs on 80% of his opportunities and has rarely pulled off passes or moves indicative of a top 6 fwd. I think he could develop into a low end 2nd liner.
Nazar was one of the fastest players in the draft (which is a huge need in Chicago, everyone was so slow last year). Also has alot of offensive upside. At the same time though he does pk and wants to become a better 200ft player. After a year or 2 in the minors he will have a much more polished game (something Dach wasn't given the opportunity to do; Dach was thrown to the wolves).

I think it really comes down to whether your team is looking for a more defensive minded C/W or a speedy, hardworking, somewhat creative C/W. They'll both likely be 2nd liners.

  27. Nah they did alright in the Dach trade, #7 overall and a 2nd and 3rd rounder for Debrincat isn’t to bad either. Top 10 picks have value.
