  1. Why are you teasing us with these little 60 second clips. By the time you start caring about the subject matter, they are done.

  2. The Islanders of the early 80s are undoubtedly the best hockey team the world's ever seen.

  3. This was the game that solidified my love for the Oilers
The Islanders a dynasty and a damn tough team, but I pulled for the upstarts from Edmonton and, in defeat, been a fan of the Oilers ever since
But the Islanders definitely bossed us in that series

  4. Oiler fans living in the past…. some things never change

  5. If anything, this loss motivated Edmonton and they became a dynasty right after. They even got revenge on the Islanders the following season.

  6. Oilers had nothing to be ashamed of they lost to the greatest team ever to lace up skates .

  7. They were exhausted bc they didnt cake walk through the Wales conference. Campbell was a joke.

  8. That Isles Dynasty somehow just kept finding whole new ways to win the Cup over and over again.

  9. Funny how oiler fans can't handle the "in.a row" concept. It's just conveniently denigrated to fit their narrative. And how opposing teams ferociously gun for you to stop these consecutive streaks. Much like the Calgary Flames. And why "in a row" including 19 straight playoff series victories is so incredibly special. With the Canadians 5 in a row cups being the gold standard. The isles had a superior defense and 3rd and 4th lines to the oilers. That is reflected in their longer "in a row" run.

  10. Kinda remind me of the Oilers today, the avs are just too good. There is always more to give man those words are so true.
