if edmonton had a solid goalie they would make it to the finals. but they lose in the 3rd round forsure, the avalanche are going to give smith a very hard time.
Oilers have a shot but they will need to bring their a-game and consistency to support the McDavid factor if they have any prayers of beating Tampa Bay, Colorado or Carolina. Also yeah, Smith needs to avoid letting goals like that. He needs to pull a Oettinger or 1993 Roy or something.
It just wouldn’t be an Oiler playoff run unless they have a major blooper on a highlight reel somewhere so now that it’s done we can move on the the next game and hopefully series. Go Oilers Go
