  1. My dad and I are Pens fans, when Kessel was having his best statistic season i said we should trade him and my dad said I was crazy…. its all about motivation and you could see it wasn't there. So trade him while he was hot

  2. Misfortune by Capitals' fans can be linked back to mis-management and poor trades.

  3. Interesting how toughest Bruins goalie of all time Eddie Johnston was at the center of both the Penguins tanking in 84 and the Whalers trading Francis and Ulfie to the Penguins in 91.

  4. Kevin Stevens was an incredible player. Thank you for the recognition. The 92-93 line of Stevens-Lemieux-Tocchet is about as good as it gets.

  5. I agree w/ your # 1. Here is my list
    10) Tie: Dick Tarnstrom/Rico Fata
    9) Jake Guentzel
    8) Aleksey Morozov
    7) Larry Murphy
    6) Alexei Kovalev
    5) Sidney Crosby
    4) Kristopher Letang
    3) Evgeni Malkin
    2) Mario Lemieux
    1) Ronnie Francis

  6. Excellent vid Shannon, even though this one had be pretty hard for you to produce. As an avid Pens fan, I can’t even imagine having to produce an all time favorite Flyers list! 😩

  7. Conor Sheary honorable mention? Why haha hes nothing special aside from one big goal in OT against the Sharks. They traded Kahun to get Sheary back, and having watched both Id take Kahun over Sheary 10 times out of 10 honestly.

  8. Right on.. Kevin Stevens…I hope he is doing ok these days. I HOPE NHLPA does right by him.

  9. My list:
    1. Jagr 2.Mario 3. Lang 4. Straka 5 Francis 6 Fleury, 7 Malkin, 8 Crosby, 9 Kovalev, 10 Nedved, 11 juri Slegr, 12 Kasparaites 13 Larry Murphy, 14 Joe Mullen, 15 Letang

  10. Pens fan. Awesome list. Somehow knew Ron Francis would be top 3. We'll get you one day as a fan, Hockey Guy. 🙂

  11. Love that you included Bryan Rust. Yes, I too like his game. And, best of all, he scored the SWG against the Caps in 2017. That alone would make him a favorite

  12. Fleury for sure a hall of fame guy he’s been in the cup final 5x’s

  13. Shocked you did not include Penguins legend Luc Robitaille. Did so much for the team, really underrated player.

  14. Great list, lots of honorable mentions. Enjoyed your thought process and evaluations.

I'm a converted to Penguins fan since about 2008-ish. Had to go to rehab and get the f#$k out of the Toronto Maple Leaf cult. LOL
Leafs should rent a Bush plane and pick a player to go fishing up North…they might win a Cup in 15 years!! LOL

  15. Good list! Although, I thought Jim Paek might at least get an honorable mention? What are your thoughts on him?

  16. Good list, difficult list. So many profiles in Pittsburgh throughout the years. Tocchet, Coffey, Mullen, Trottier, Barrasso, Samuelsson, Zalapski, Wregget, Hedberg, Tarnstrom, Dupuis etc.

  17. 2020 UPDATE!

  18. “You have to have two really good goal tenders to win a Stanley cup” Vasy “hold my beer” kuch “say less”

  19. I'd have Mario as #1 and it's not even close. Partly for his superb goals. Partly for that Canada Cup goal. Partly for his clutch performance. But especially for his Art Ross in 1993; that was a performance for the ages. Anyone gets cancer, you show them a video of that performance. He is an immortal sports legend for that.

I'd have Jagr at #2 partly for his beautiful goals… but also for his choice of number. Lest we forget.

  20. Could someone tell me something cool or funny about Rick Kehoe?

  21. Bitter much? Can you please learn how to make an entertaining video with editing, maybe music? I watch every video, but your videos are like 3rd grade history class when the teacher says he's letting you leave early, but as you're walking out he remembers he left off something that's going to be on the test..

  22. PP:" Lemieux wins the faceoff. Murphy to Jagar, Jagar to Francis, Francis to Lemieux he shoots he scores! That's just not fair" some ESPN commentater in the early 90's

  23. Though I've never been a Penguins fan (never hated them either) they've provided Great Britain with some excellent players who were big stars here and remain well regarded including (but not limited too) Mike Blaisdell, Ken Priestlay, Frank Pietrangelo, Jim Paek, Eric Cairns and the well liked but oft forgotten Rob Dopson. Not to mention Tom Barrasso coaching here briefly. So thanks Pittsburgh. 😋

  24. Huge pens fan! My only criticism of this list is I feel Malkin should be lower. Don’t get me wrong I love Malkin but sometimes he can be a bit hot headed and it leads to suspensions which is a bit of a liability. Again I love Malkin!

  25. There’s a whole bunch of videos that I’ve never seen before and I check everyday. Sometimes 3-4 times a day. What is going on? Not that I’m not glad for the “new” content but where the heck was it?
