Kings fan since 95 I have most of those kings sweaters.
Gretzky wearing the 92 black and silver, with his signature silver Easton hockey stick, pure classic. I remember a commentator said it was an excalibur for the "king"

As a Sharks fan gonna chime in that the Gretzky 90s silver and black were the best, I hate the Lakers Purple and Yellow and hate the early 2000s purple jerseys as well, their current jerseys look good just as Silver and Black

The first rebranding, the logo always reminded me of the Chevrolet logo.
The burger king jersey would be much better without the god awful strip. The king logo is not bad.

I hate the current logo, looks like the worst type of corporate advertising logo. Go back to the crown, loved the old Lakers colours (especially the 80's style with the shoulder stripes.) Or even the Gretzky era black/silver. Grey is tedious on a Jersey.
Those are Kings colors not Lakers colors. The Lakers switched from Blue and White when they moved into the Forum so the Kings had those colors first.

If I’m not mistaken the Lakers didn’t have Purple and Yellow until the same season as the Kings came into the league. I think the Lakers used blue and white for many yrs before that. So maybe the Lakers took the Kings idea for the colors?
I honestly prefer the Kings stick with the black and white jerseys just because it there the only team with those colours and it goes well with LA
I think another reason the "Burger King" was so unpopular is that was the '95-'96 season. The Kings were not a very good team, after the All-Star break, Gretzky pretty much demanded a trade, went to St. Louis, they decided to blow up it, traded Kurri, McSorley, etc., we'll go with the kids, get our brains beat out for awhile and hopefully then get better. Not a lot of good memories of that season.
You need to try and get you one of the reverse retros from this season. They are maybe the best sweaters the Kings have ever come out with.
I like the original 60s-70s design and colors. The black/silver or the logo just doesn't do it.
Adidas 3 stripes is iconic in as of itself, so three strings. I love the current LA lettering logo. For anyone that grew up in the U.S. when you see "L A" you think of L.A. (Los Angeles). Just like the Dodgers- I don't think anyone really loves the 'Dodgers' lettering logo better than the simple and clean LA. LA is money. Also, I like the font too. Almost a Chinatown type of thing. Thumbs up!

I was so happy to find this video! I picked up an old (early 1970's) hockey bag. It was full of some super cool hockey stuff. The duffel bag is maroon and gold and says "LA Midget Kings" on it. Inside the bag were some OLD jerseys. There's a Kings jersey made by the Goodman company. There were also some "The Forum" employee shirts. There's a 75/76 LA Kings sport coat in it…but it is maroon, too. Just really random stuff. I have a question, if you might be able to answer it. Was the "Midget" a high school aged league? Does that explain the color difference? Great video even if you don't have the time to respond. Thanks!

The chevron jersey i loved because of the Gretzky years and beyond.
Love the LA home plate jerseys because we won a Cup with that logo, but it has never sit right with me. It is a "Home Plate". I've always associated it with baseball.
My favorite jersey is the 3rd with the string neck line and the shield.
The new jerseys with the home plate shaped logo should be changed to a shield shaped logo instead. Keep it the same. Just use a shield.
This is just the saddest tale for sure, we had the most beautiful jerseys in sport, today we have the ugliest by far, created to try to be hip with gangsters and rappers.. hopefully one day ownership brings back the glory we deserve!
