  1. Ummm…Close, but I still ranks Simon Cowell’s statement that Jennifer Hudson wouldn’t amount to much still the topper. She became an EGOT winner at the Tony’s last weekend BTW, which makes that idiotic comment by Simon’s so much sweeter IMO.

  2. This was the kinda game that 3 periods weren't enough. I coulda watched an all night game the way the Avs were playing.

  3. just goes to show that if the leafs would have made it through the lightning they still wouldn't have won anything..

  4. Only thing Tampa can do is get a win in game 3 and the tone will change- game 3 is a must win for tampa… the avs certainly must know this- game 3 will be huge

  5. Colorado has been a hockey state ever since the team came here. I can't remember a time where I hit up a local bar on a game night, and it wasn't packed with fans with the game on. Let's go boys, I'm watching my 11 year old memories come true again!
EDIT: To clarify: They won the cup when I was 11 years old. I haven't been frequenting bars since that age.

  6. Steve – "The Av's don't look terribly dangerous right now"
Announcer – "But little did Steve know, the Avs were incredibly dangerous, and they were about to show him why…"

  7. 1996, game 2, Colorado vs. Florida was the last time a player got a hat trick in the Stanley Cup Finals and they had 2 people almost get one Saturday night (Val and Cale). Just like in 1996, the first game was close, second game Colorado blew out the Florida team. if history repeats, Game 4 will be a triple OT 1-0 affair with EJ winning it on a clappy-bomb from the point.

  8. Oh wow! For the Love of Hockey, thank you, Mr. Steve Dangle. Thank you SportsNet. I Love your youtube character! Normally as a Habs fan (cough! cough!) – I turn the switch off. But since I landed on this yt channel, oh-my-goodness! I enjoy so much watching games AND re-watch your channel stuff just like this one!

    Just Thank you!

  9. Would you rather see Avs win to beat the team that beat the Leafs? Or see the Lightning win because at least then the Leafs lost only to the Cup winners?

  10. Gary Makar has time to high five all of his friends. Definition = MacKinnon's parents.

  11. Hi Steve ! I am a Have fan ,Do you think that the Lighting looks like the Canadians did in last years playoffs? But the Avalanche looks so good that I would say the Avalanche wins in 5 at home the Lighting will win one at home. Is hockey a funny thing? But yeah we love it! Thanks again.

  12. 1- why is anyone surprised by the Avs having a breakout romp
2- it’s less a “performance for the ages” than the Bolts didn’t show up (why is up for discussion)
3- this isn’t Tampa’s 1st rodeo or bad loss in the SCF. It looked like the 2015 series vs Chicago. And since game 3 went 6-2 Bolts, don’t assume anything. Avs still up, still favored, still deadly, but Tampa will not roll over.
4- that “Avs aren’t looking that dangerous” comment aged as well as a dried turd on a bad stretch of highway.

  13. Hehe, no. 6-2, they DEMOLISHED them. You'd expect a better performance from the Avs in game 3, but they got wrecked. And they were lucky they didn't get more.
Had to pull the goalie, and that is the best comeback Tampa could have made. Looking forward to game 4.

  14. Not even 3mins into the game and this heehaw says “Avs don’t look that dangerous right now” — like what? That’s the exaaaact reason why the vast majority of Leafs fans are absolute dogshite. This guy can’t even skate lol

  15. I was so lucky to go to that game as my first Stanley cup game attended as an Avalanche fan. 20' away from Makar scoring a shortie as I was screaming shortie!
