Like on what planet is McKinnon, Landeskog, Rantanen better than Kucherov, Stamkos, Point? Makar is good but the lightning have Hedman AND McDonagh. Oh the Avalanche have Byram, Toews, well the Lightning have Cernak, Sergachev. B-But Colorado has Nichushkin and an injured Kadri, Lightning have Palat, Cirelli, Colton, etc. No point in bringing up goaltending.
Colorado is good, but I don't see how they are better than Toronto or the Panthers for that matter. They are in a very weak western conference and should have walked by the teams that they played. That's the same conference that freaking Montreal walked out of just last year…
The whole opinion of Colorado seems more to be due to some "Just because" argument rather than reality. Are they a good team? Yes. Can they win this year? Yes. But they are in no way the "team to beat". The real monster is still the Lightning.

Money can buy anything these days..point in case, how does a state that doesnt even get snow or ice end up with the most prestigeous sports cup that Canada has to offer, and it end up staying in the US for 30 years. I used to luv watching hockey, but dont really bother anymore. Inconsistant calls from refs with questionable integrity and greed. I get it but this is why the game is dying. Even with all the cameras able to instantly review a goal or call and still there is calls that make people upset due to the concrete evidence ignored on these video replays. Doesnt matter if its cheating, all that matters is that you sell tickets.

Three years in a row to the finals, You have to respect that. Win or Lose, that's pretty amazing. Last team to 3peat was the Islanders in the 80's, I think Tampa will win .
