Blues are taking this series in 6 to much grit on their team and not enough on the avalanche team
Blues are having a year similar to 2019 I feel playoff wise. I think they have a much better offense now too. Binner is playing consistent again which makes me super happy.
Berube's gameplan to the Blues: Work the cycle. Get pucks deep. Double team MacKinnon. Back him up and put pressure on him before he gets going. Give them the first shot. When they press, play conservative. When they play conservative, go on the attack. Work the cycle, and hold the center of the ice.

My son and I were discussing tonight’s game before the drop of the puck. He said he has never seen a team ,(Avs) dominate the Blues like they did in game one . I told him that Berube and the Blues will make adjustments and will win this game in regulation . And I’ll be darned if the Blues did just that . Blues tied and heading home for 2 home ice games with the momentum . Go Blues !

This was the real Blues team that beat Minnesota, but once again after Berube makes all the adjustments needed to play against Colorado. Binnington playing like he did in 2019 is also huge giving the Blues a chance any time they play. Looks like a great series ahead.

Every game is different and any team can catch fire or go ice cold at any time. You can't predict the rest of the series based on this game just like you couldn't predict this game based on the last. I think it's going to be back and forth the rest of the way but we'll see.
