I went to school with his older brother Bobby when we lived in the Chicago area. Didn’t realize it until he said he was moving to Winnipeg. I said « that’s where Bobby Hull was traded to » and he said « yeah, he’s my dad ».
No idea, he never talked about it. To him his dad playing hockey was his job, like my Dad being an accountant.
He and his brother (don’t remember if it was Brett) were really good at pond hockey. Should have been a clue!
