Oh man are the Avs on a roll!! Makar is just killin it! I'm certainly not going to suggest that they're better without MacKinnon, he's a world class talent and I can't wait for him to get back on the ice, but they seem to actually be getting better as a team without him right now. Maybe because they can't just sit back and watch and expect him to do it all, kinda like the Bulls with Jordan back in the day.
I can help explain the avalanche situation. To start the season Mackinnon was out as was coach Bednar for Covid. Quickly a succession of key players were injured; what’s new? The avalanche expected a short start to the season. Meaning as they lost Saad, Donskoi and some key depth and top tier players for the purpose of making room for the developing/developed players I.e Compher jost to step up and hopefully players like Baron and Newhook to eventually join the fray. The rough start coupled with injuries forced new chemistry. That chemistry is now igniting. Even missing Compher and Mackinnon, and no Francouz (back up) and no Byram, the Avs are winning because the core is strong. Now the chemistry he been helped proliferate between the entirety of the team. This team is deadly. We expected it. I said before this season started we may see the best Avs team since the dynasty. We still shall see but they are showing it.
Landeskog-Kadri-Rantanen is killing it. No need to break them up once Mac comes back. Put Mac on a second scoring line with Burakovsky and a scrapper (OConnor).

6 game win streak. Imagine a full strength team.
Anyone else not see where tf the avs first goal went in?
LET'S GO AVS
Wait why did they pull kuempfer? Did he get injured?
5 goals . . . Avs must be slacking lol. In their previous 5 games, they scored 7 goals in 3 of them, plus another game with 6 goals.
Makar is looking like a cheat code lately. If they Avs weren't so loaded you might even start to hear talks about Makar for Hart Trophy.
Really miss Kadri on the Leafs 😢😢
Look at that Kevin Shattenkirk on defense, might as well roll out a homeless man. Embarrassing player.
Ducks, that was embarrassing! Try not to do that again.
Let’s go!
Nice Avs
Love you forever Naz

Kadri 4th in the league in scoring after McJesus, Draisaitl and Ovi…outrageous.
What a win for my avalanche
i was there and sat right in front of the fight
1 goal Getzlaf stunk up the barn again
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really want this AVS team to hoist the cup this year.
