I guess Seattle will realase the Kraken .But Seattle has always been die hard hokey town ,which goes back a long time .But makes the west coast now more teams ,which will make the playoffs cooler .But I guess will be cheering for Vancoiuver and Seattle .

There’s reason to believe they’ll get in the playoffs considering the weak division and with how Vegas shocked everyone, but the central is stronger and I don’t see them finishing higher than 4th.

The Kraken remind me of this year's Mariners a lot. Almost no star power (Grubauer is a bigger star than any player the M's had on their roster at almost any point this year), a bunch of mid tier guys that have no expectations, and on paper they look to have similar offensive struggles as the Mariners. But I think, like the Mariners, if guys perform (Giordano gives me Kyle Seager vibes), they can certainly surprise a lot of people. I suspect they'll win a lot of close games just like the M's did and defense and goaltending will be to the Kraken what defense and the bullpen were to the Mariners. The Pacific division is wide open outside of Vegas and the opportunity is there for the Kraken.

I have a soft spot for expansions. I jumped on the Knights train as soon as I heard about them. I'll be rooting for the Kraken, but I have to put my Knights first!
