I don't care what the NHL says. At 1:30 it's the goal of the season. Makar's "Goal of the season" was weak, it isn't even in the same universe as McDavid's.

It's amazing how most of his goals aren't amazing snipes or dangling the entire defense (even if he does do it). He just has the best Hockey IQ on the ice and has the athleticism to keep up. you see this video and most of his goals are actually rebounds, well placed close snapshots and well empty netters. He's always at the right place at the right time and makes the right decision at the right time

Sportsnet, you have to stop using that weird filter in these videos. It's horrible. It feels like the sun hits the camera and it just makes it more difficult to see. The NHL cameras are already bad enough, we don't want something else obstructing our vision. Thank you
