  1. Niles wants out because he knows he can’t make the team and the rangers have a lot of d prospects. If they trade him they should be looking for a center prospect

  2. I think with the dach signing today this is pretty much not going to happen. Hughes made it clear he is not trading players or picks for nothing. Rangers want two prospects and a draft pick. Too much

  3. I think the Rangers want Josh Anderson. Why him? Because Josh Anderson was a Tampa Bay killer back in the year Columbus Beat Tampa Bay 4 straight in the play-offs..TB coach said: We had no answer for Anderson.. NY wants to get to the Stanley Cup final, but they are going to have to go through Tampa first to do it….Anderson would help them tremendously to get past Tampa..I don't think that Kravtsov and Lundkvist may be enough for the Habs to part with Anderson, but let's see what happens…

  4. From what I've hard, in Montreal's news and rumors feeds, Chris Drury is asking for either Jan Mysak or Riley Kidney and the Montreal 2nd round pick in 2023 (which is like a 1st round pick in this draft) for Nils Lundkvist. That might explain why it isn't done yet, an heavy price in my opinion. As for Kravtsov, I've no info.

  5. We all thought that Calgary had no leverage in trading Matt Tkachuk and Florida offered their heart and soul, a top 20 Dman, and a 1st, so the Rangers can still get good value out of guys who want a change of scenery.

  6. Nils is NHL ready he is just off the depth chart on RD on the NYR. The kings are rumored to also be looking for a RD on elc .Vitali I got nothing other than it was Gorton's pick

  7. I can't imagine what the Habs would give for these two i mean geesh Hughes gave a first round pick for Dach so now i am afraid Hughes is getting out of hand spending all their cap space and forgetting the future.
MTL has already shown their hand so now teams know the Habs want a RD and are trying to dump a couple forwards so it is the Habs who are not in the drivers seat.

  8. The Rangers tried to do the same thing to Buffalo before Eichel was shipped out to Vegas. They were saying the exact same thing..Lundkvist and Kravtsov plus a first. We knew even back then that they were completely unwilling to give up any of their higher end prospects or position players. Not even Kakko, who has had his fair share of problems.
Any team wants to go out and get the best they can get… but it's pretty obvious at this point that the Rangers are openly trying to sell their "trash" for treasure (no disrespect to Kravtsov or Lundkvist)

  9. Montreal should send them their backup Zamboni driver and a bag of hockey pucks. Nothing personal, just business.

  10. Nils Ludkvist and Vitali Kratsov for Joel Armia Cam Hillis and a second round pick (2024). Would that be fair?

  11. 30-40 points if everything goes right for Nils? That seems quite low for a guy who lit up the SHL as a 20 year old.

  12. The Canadians don't have nothing that the Rangers want maybe Anderson but the Rangers cannot afford him and they don't have no contracts that they could even give to Montreal because the Rangers really need cap space and that's pretty much it I don't think nothing's going to happen

  13. He was playing 4th line minuites and got 4 points in 20 games

  14. I hope you are not serious. Why anybody would want Kravtsov, a player that is not dedicated to succeed in the NHL but will run away in the KHL at the first sign of adversity. That’s not a sign of character. As for Lundkvist, it depends on the price, but I would not pay much.

  15. Why would i listen to a guy about what a team should ask for or not who sits in his mamma basement playing EA SportsNHL.

  16. NY Rangers fan here. Trading JT was a mistake. They went into rebuilding, I get it, but they made some mistakes when they cleaned house. JT was one of them. Clearly Ryan McDonagh wasn't done playing great hockey either. One thing I never understood about rebuilding with younger players is how everyone will talk about how they are making rookie mistakes and that someone with the experience of a veteran wouldn't do whatever it is they did. You just talked about how great it is to get young blood on the team, then you turn around and talk about how they don't know what they are doing because they don't have the experience.

It's like those help wanted where they want 10-15 years experience for an entry level position that pays minimum wage.
