The most Leafs thing the Leafs could possibly do this season is make the playoffs, beat the Lightning in the first round and then get swept by Montreal in the second round.
Most people say the same thing I do, if John Tavares hadn't gotten hurt in the first 10 minutes of the first game, Toronto would have won that series. It also didn't help when they lost Jake Muzzin in game 6.

Amazing how Sundin stayed injury free, and led the team in scoring for 8 seasons. Decent playoff stats as well. Leafs always had trouble getting consistent long term depth to take the offensive pressure off him. They wandered in the wilderness for a long time before Matthews, Marner, and Nylander arrived. Now they can't get any success in the playoffs, and their top 4 have to take good part of the blame. Their character and compete level now validly questioned. Not sure they can win anything with this group, except for maybe Matthews.
