Barrie has been their best defence man who is an offensive minded defence man. Keith is slow and very shaky on defence. Not worth 5 million. Holland better fix the defence then go after a goalie. Smith is too injury prone
I'm glad that the west coast games are postponed. Isles won't be whole defensively until Ryan Pulock returns and he must be reunited with Pelech on the first pairing.
Regardless of who won, Oilers have too much invested on offense cap wise and nothing in goalie and barely anything in defense outside of Nurse. You cannot complete in the NHL Playoffs like this. You just won’t make it there. 38 & 42 year old goalies aren’t the players they used to be. Your forwards are playing defense and making costly mistakes because your real defense cannot keep the pace. They need to re-set this team or let Mcdavid move onward. I know his girlfriend just built their majestic house with her as the architect, but they can’t win a cup here like this.
Great result,finally got an elusive ot win😊 Islanders the better team for 49 of 65 minutes …with the young guns coming along and expiring contracts for a few players the Islanders are really looking good but it may be next season😢 I am not giving up on this season,never have since 1972 well at least the Islanders know they need 100 percent effort for every game from now on,basically playoff hockey every game
