  1. Having Kadri/Bertuzzi/Sundqvist on three different lines would be pretty sweet. Other teams would be driven nuts.

  2. If you sign him trade Burt Bertuzzi for a 1st and good prospect. The you could copp In burt spots

  3. I’m going to say this because if I’m wrong, it would be so right. Yzerman isn’t going to spend more than 8.5 per year this year on any player. Kadri will cost the wings about 9.5.

  4. I still think from what you read that Islanders is front runners for Kadri, if thay can get rid of some contracts. They REALLY need him

  5. i'd like a short term kadri deal to see how it works out. if it's a one year high cap hit, could be worth the gamble.

  6. I don't think Steve wants to go over the cap limit. He's smart with his spending. We have a group of core players that he doesn't want to risk losing. But Kadri could be an option for next year, or perhaps a trade.

  7. Unless Yzerman can get Kadri to take a heavy discounted contract, I doubt Yzerman wants him..

  8. This would have been a smart move for Detroit – signing Kadri on a one-year deal and then using him as a trade chip at the trading deadline to bring in more assets. Essentially you are spending whatever you are paying him for the year (or until the trade deadline) to buy the assets you will get in a trade. In this new era of the NHL, being creative is really important. Kudos to Stevie Y to pull this off if that is indeed his plan.

  9. Kadri just bought a 2.1 million dollar house in London Ontario, his home town. Detroit is about 2 hours away from Detroit.

  10. I would trade Larkin if i were the wings. Hes a good player, good kid but he can't lead a Wings team to a cup and thats the expectaions the Wings have bestowed on him.

  11. Yea, it could WORK, but at what cost? Why would an acclaimed recent Stanley Cup winner want to be a centerpiece for a rebuild unless he made an INSANE payday ($9M?) that would jeopardize Yzerman's ability to resign his core and bring up top prospects? The only draw Detroit has is a very large Muslim community he could bond with and conceivably put money in his pocket with business ventures. You get a Kadri when you need that ONE GUY to compete for a Cup. I think after losing Tkachuk and Gaudreau, and having Mr.Assist Huberdeau, Calgary would be their thirstiest team capable of paying for his skills.

  12. Won't happen. Red Wings / Stevie Y is way to smart to deplete his draft picks for a player an average at best player. Kadri will never give you more then 20 goals per year moving forward. He isn't worth a 1st rounder or a 2nd. 3rd rounder yes but isn't worth more then 4 million per year.

  13. I really like our depth up the middle now that we signed Copp. I think Pius Suter can be a very effective 3rd line center man.

  14. Didn’t Brendan Shanahan get rid of him in Toronto? I have never liked much, talented but how is he in the locker room so to speak.

  15. I bin saying it.. but if it doesn’t happen I am good. I’m on the Yzerplan. No wavering. Can anyone argue with Stevie at this point? If you think you can argue, go stick your head in a bucket! Complaints department would love to hear from you. Smarten up know-it-alls!

  16. Lol who wouldn’t kick the tires on the best free agent out there lol, you would be stupid not to ask and see what he wants lol love your videos
