  1. Let me know what you think on the leafs roster and potential lineup? Thanks for the support and smash that like! Lots more vids and streams to come

  2. I can see Kyle Dubis making a lot of decisions for the coach knowing his job depends on this season

  3. Robertson will really have to blow the Leafs away to make the roster. You're assuming Kase is fine. Kampf and Spezza switch lines at C. Ritchie… whew.. I don't know about him. Putting Marner back with JT is something they may try. Losing Bogo really shows now. Dermott…bottom pair looks weak. Will be interesting to see how Bunting does. I'm reasonably optimistic. Goaltending looks "okay" providing Mrzak stays healthy. Overall? Maybe playoffs maybe not

  4. Losing Bogosian was regrettable. The Leafs’ forwards are fine. They need a solid stay at home D to replace Bogosian. Maybe sign Chara…

  5. I actually really like your idea for lines but I think we are at least a year away from it being viable. For me Robertson obviously has the top end talent and potential to be a top 6 forward but he needs to dominate the AHL for half a season before he cracks the roster let alone push for a top 6 spot.

  6. 1st line:
    LW: N. Robertson
    C: Matthews
    RW: Marner

    2nd line:
    LW: P. Gogolev
    C: Tavares
    RW: Nylander

    3rd line:
    LW: Kerfoot
    C: Kämpf
    RW: Mikheyev

    4th line:
    LW: Richtie
    C: Spezza
    RW: J. Ho-Sang

Ritchie and Gogolev coud go either way. incase you dont know who Pavel Gogolev is he scored 6 goals and 6 assists for 12 pts in 13 AHL games, he outpaced Robertson in pts per game. He is around 21 years old.

    Defence:
    Brodie, Rielly

    Muzzin, Holl

    Sandin, Liljegren

Thats not a bad lineup all things considered. I think the 4th line will once again be a process of guess and check.

  7. Spezza doesn’t have the endurance to play top 6 he said he can’t play too many minutes at that age barely even top 9

  8. Leafs should have another great regular season Hot Take 👍but then the playoffs…lol. razzin ya just cause I love ya…lol

  9. marner not playing with matthews will hurt their feelings. then you'll be mean like Babcock. yes this is tongue in cheek.

  10. Didn’t Tavares score 47 goals with Mitch on his wing….

  11. John, I think you test drive Ritchie with Matthews/Marner & see if he can cut it, then try Bunting who I like (fearless, great engine & grit + played on Canada's gold medal team at the Worlds) with JT & Bill, try Kerfoot with Kampf (you will like Kampf) & Simmonds (some speed/grit/& they all play defence) & finally Mikheyev, Spezza & Kase and pray his concussion issues are behind him. He's really good, but hugely concerned he can stay healthy. The Leafs have depth & I hope Sandin & Dermott can mesh as the 3rd pair with Sandin on the 1st PP.

  12. Take out Simmonds and I completely agree with what you shared as a best case… Overall the Leafs are BETTER if Marner and Tavares get back together.

  13. Looking forward to next playoffs, the question remains…has Tavares improved his putting enough to challenge for top honors at his country club?
