Nylander with the mitts
The first Vegas goal wouldn't have happened if the Leafs actually hit. Vegas player behind the net with the puck while two Leafs let him pass it out front. It's what kills them in the playoffs
The first goal by Vegas is the type of goal the leafs need to cut out. Too often they lose the puck behind the net and don’t clear in front of the net.
Love watching the Entitled Knights lose!

Looks like Nylander's shootout winner just lost a few viewers on LFR as he gets more when they lose (The Steve Dangle peak and freak session, That non Leaf fans know and love) and even more when they blow leads in the 3rd period. Not a good look for the Leafs blowing 3 and 2 goal leads two nights in a row. As a Canucks fan makes sense to cheer on the Leafs, Then again I've always pulled for them going back the Keon, Ullman, Ellis, Sittler and McDonald days. Used to curse Harold Ballard on a daily basis.
Campbell is playing too big a part in these wins. Leafs need to stop making HUGE mistakes. In the highest levels of sports the team that makes the least number of mistakes wins. There were 2 GLARING errors in this game.
Matthews will have the most goals but damn Nylanders end of season highlight reel will be the most fun to watch. It's all snipes and dekes
Campbell's blocker save on Marchessault at 2:50 may not be well noticed, but it's the kind of save you make day-in, day-out in order to win a Vezina.

Muz and holl have really taken a step back. I think holl would be a good third pairing d man. He’s not a top 4 pairing or someone that should be on the PK. I think muzzin would also Play better when playing with an actual top 4 d.

They will never win with that type of team in the playoffs. Too many soft areas indeed. Good teams don't blow leads continuously like the Leafs… Sad reality. No Lords since 1967 & no playoffs series wins since 2004 says it all.

lmao leafs blew another lead. that’s already like what 4 times they blew a lead this year. they were up 5-1 against the blue jackets and won 5-4, up 4-1 against the blackhawks and won 5-4, were up 4-1 against the avalanche and lost 5-4, and this game were up 3-1 and won 4-3. kinda sad lol
The Leafs are a very generous team. They always allow the opponent team to tie up the game lol.
The Golden Knights should just put a #7 jersey on a traffic pylon and tape a stick to it. It would do about as much defensively as Pylontrangelo. McNabb basically being their top D-man tells me there wont be many playoff games in the VGK post season this year.

Can the highlights start to include all the shootout attempts. Its worth adding the extra 1 min to the video to see each attempt.
To exemplify the extreme parity that exists among the 4 individual divisions in the NHL, as of Jan. 26th, 2022, all 8 teams in the Eastern Conference that currently hold a playoff position have a HIGHER winning % than the VGK, who are 1st in the Pacific. That's insane. Edit: a wildcard team in the East is going to finish with more points than a Division winning team in the West, I have no doubt.. Quite an unfair situation, to be sure.
