Looks like Chris Ilitch is going to spend to the cap so we can vie for the playoffs, and Stevie still has cap space and new talent to package for a game changing forward to take us to contender level. Lots of new toys for Lalonde to play with and hopefully two functioning power play units and revamped Left D should cut down the +/- gap and get them 85-90 points. Training camp will be hyper-competitive this year with new kids competing against seasoned pros for jobs.

Chairot is top pair with Seider. Maatta with Hronek and Pysyk with Wallman. Osterele and Lindstrom are 7 and 8. Of course this assumes that Edvinson doesn't make the team out of camp. Chairot is there to protect young players and be painful to play against. They don't need him to put up points just keep the pests off and compliment Seider. Throw out the advanced metrics on this one.
Sens and Red Wings look like they are going to be a rivalry soon. Not a long and historic rival like Leafs/Habs, but they will compete very well against each other.

first off don’t compare last seasons record for anything guys played hurt and like vrana wasn’t in the lineup until the end of the season the veterans Stevie y added was well needed and will only improve this young teams chemistry as a whole unit 🤷♂️🤔

Last season, the Wings, with a really bad coach, and some poor skaters, came close to a playoff spot. The 22/23 season will be a fun team to watch, and they will have a playoff spot. It's that simple! E-NUFF said.
