  1. Hand up, in this episode we said Parker Kelly was waivers exempt. That is not true. Even more likely, then, that an NHL spot is his to lose

  2. Perhaps these quite predictable losts will burst the rainbow warriors Sens 'On top of the Hill' bubble. Quite a rude awakening to what could be expected this season. DJ and the coaching entourage show once more that they are not suited for the NHL.

  3. Coach Mann got fired by the Bears because a stacked team of the Washington Caps could not make the play-offs four years in a row.
Having the wrong players on the ice when trouble happens gets a coach fired.

  4. Love the Podcast!! Have been a listener for a while. Always kinda find it awkward at the start of videos having only Ross talk and Piller just nodding his head for the first minute or two😂

  5. They should have these rookie tournaments by half-division and ran by the NHL itself. 4 teams per mini-tournament means a minimum of 3 games each with maybe a 4v1, 2v3 with single knockout final tournament to finish it it off. Max 5 games but some competitiveness to the concept. You can also do these in markets who are big into hockey but won't get NHL games. Ie: Quebec City, Saskatoon, Houston or AHL venues

  6. You do an awesome job guys!

But I mean, people need to rest sometimes. It’s not that because that we are bored for a month that we should put a tournament and just add this burden to players that also need to take a break.

  7. I am maybe a little concern of how the last two games went giving up 13 goals on 2 games. Have main camp to get ready as so far I am not comfortable as of now going into the season with no goal support.

  8. Pillzy should have a blast at the Bills game tonight! Such a fun environment!

My dad and i are actually taking a road trip to Tampa this week to see the Buccaneers' home opener. Should be OK. As it just so happens, the Jays are in town that weekend too. Bonus.

    Cheer loud tonight!

  9. Agree with Ross, if formenton is not available, might as well have:

    Joseph – Pinto – Sokolov
    Keeping the fourth line of
    Motte – Gambrell – Watson

Feel like shark had a great year with 50 pts but more impressive was his improvement in +/- which tells me that he is less of a liability and starting to learn that defensive game. Playing him with a defensive-minded center and a speedy winger I think would be great. I'm not sure how else Sokolov will learn the pace of the NHL when he's been given limited minutes without ideal linemates at the NHL level.

  10. I think Kelly could produce some decent offence in a 3rd line role. His speed would match up with pinto and Joseph. Keep the 4th line a pure defence / grind it out line.

  11. A third line checking line would be Tyler Motte,Shane Pinto, and Matheau Joseph.Sokolov could play 3rd line as well. This is such a deep team
