  1. THE CANUCKS PLAYOFF PUSH HAS BEEN INTENSE! What Are YOUR Thoughts On the Canucks Playoff Chances? Do YOU See Them Making It? What About the Kings & Golden Knights? I'd LOVE to Hear YOUR Predictions! #GravGang #RoadTo55kSUBS

  2. If they do, Horvat lead the league in playoff goals from round 2- the finals in the bubble. Did I mention no one passed him until the finals. (Horvat didn’t play in rounds 3 or 4

  3. I doubt that vancouver makes the playoffs , on a different note my pick for the hart right now is Gaudreau especially when you see the other players near his point total have averaged more ice time than Johnny . draisaitl and mcdavid play four more minutes per game than gaudreau , huberdeau has even played a higher average , in a nutshell Gaudreau out produces others on a point per minute basis I imagine that sutter is managing his minutes in not to burn him out before the playoffs like mathews taking a 2 game break missing tonights flyers game . i would even consider gaudreau for the selke and lady bing and he is not out of the running for art ross trophy either . LA does have a weak schedule with chicago , seattle and anaheim twice before the end of the season . if vancouver does get in, more power to them but i do not expect them to make it .

  4. As a leafs fan in Europe i really hope they do make it.. i will be staying up at 4 AM Paying attention to this game.. yeah Ottawa is such a pesky team sometimes 😅.. definitely gonna be a trap game..

  5. I feel like the Canucks have a team that can actually make some noise in the playoffs, with the way that they are playing right now there’s no telling what they can do

  6. As a Canucks fan i'm hoping Los Angeles wins 3 games or less down the stretch…Starts in Anaheim tonight.

  7. As an Oilers fan, Vancouver is a team I'd rather not face in the playoffs…..but they're in tough simply bc LA has a cupcake schedule remaining not to mention Stars have easier opponents after this western Canadian swing….

  8. If they do make it, I would see edm in 6, 1-1 after 2 then 2-2 after 4 then oilers win final 2

  9. I think the Canucks were something like second worse team in the league when Bruce rode in. And were on pace for some worst record of something, maybe penalty kill. They were awful. Now it's the most exciting team to watch. Win tonight and I might jump on the band wagon. I am a fan and know it is still upward. Beat the Sens and we have a good chance. The pressure will be on other teams. They are making believers. Go Canucks Go!

  10. As a leaf fan I think Vancouver will make the playoffs, cause they been great ever since Bruce Boudreau was hired, and Vegas sucks now all cause of jack Eichel and he is a curse with locker room cancer, Vegas is poverty and Vancouver is better, go Canucks ig

  11. Canucks make the playoffs? Their chances are back to barely

The Vancouver Canucks’ chances of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs were always running along the narrowest of ledges.

And now, with five games to play, we can truly see how every point matters.

Two weeks ago, their chances were nearly down to zero, ( A month ago ) they’d been hovering around 30 per cent.)

Then they won six games in a row and had dragged their chances back up to about 15 per cent.

But dropping a single point to the Ottawa Senators Tuesday night has their chances back down to single digits. And looking forward, it’s clear how truly difficult their path to the playoffs has now become.

It was always unlikely they’d truly run the table over the seven games in the last 12 games of the season, but a home game against the Senators, one of the weaker teams in the league this season, was a self-evident must-win.

The Canucks ———– are on a very tough two-game road trip in Minnesota and Calgary ————- , two teams with big playoff ambitions, so expecting the Canucks to win both seemed unreasonable, and if they had beaten Ottawa, pushing their winning streak to seven and keeping their maximum points on the season at 98, you could say they might be able to weather a loss in the next two games.

But now it’s hard to see how they can really maintain a hope of the playoffs if they do anything but win both of these games.

Going into Wednesday’s action — the Canucks are idle, but two teams they’re in the playoff conversation with, the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars, played games — the Canucks’ chances stood at about eight per cent.

That single point lost to the Senators now means the Canucks can’t get more than 97 points, an impressive total but possibly not enough to get them into the playoffs. If they do win all five of their remaining games, beginning Thursday in Minnesota, they do have an 89-per-cent chance of making the playoffs.

But before the Senators’ loss, 97 points would have given them a 93-per-cent chance of making the big dance. Even finishing with 96 points would have given them a 79-per-cent chance at the playoffs, but that’s now down to a 64-per-cent chance.

Even to finish with 96 points, the Canucks would need to come away with four wins and a loss in overtime or a shootout, a pretty hot finish to the season.
