  1. The kadri loss hurts, but the Av's core is still stacked. They have 4 guys that could put up 100pts, and other players poised to have breakout seasons. I don't see anyone in the west topping them.

  2. Avs are 1 and done. Kinda like Bostons core. 1 win in 3 appearances.

  3. Something in the Coal Harbour water sets Nathan and Sidney from others.
    Never satisfied… 🤔
    It's called WINNERS!
Nathan is a winner and will never be satisfied with anything that has competition in it.
Congrats, and a great chill interview.

  4. He might still be driven just as much but winning the cup has really seemed to lighten him up, he seems alot more chill and relaxed in interviews now

  5. excellent interview! as a tampa guy i enjoyed hearing from mack's COL perspective. you guys had the hedman interview a short while back, so i like the fairness and balance.
COL imo was the better, correct team to win. it hurt not having brayden point but i'm not going to use that as an excuse – i'm sure the avs had guys sore and busted up too.

all that said, i think COL has the potential to repeat if not compete well for a 3-peat. they don't have the mileage or wear and tear that TBL has, the labor costs are reasonable and they know what it takes to neck-stomp a 2x defending stanley cup champion.

sakic and macF have done a fantastic job over the last 5 years to put COL where they are now, and where they could be in the future. 💯

  6. What a great interview, #29 will be up in the rafters one day, along with 92, 96 and 8. Go Avs go!

  7. Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen

  8. My opinion is that loss to Vegas last postseason help them win. Usually teams want to move on but the Avs kept that as fuel. The Avs needed to lose to win. Plus the Avs also used the Leafs series against the Lightning. Love Mack good to hear he wants to stay in Colorado.
Side note Congrats to Mack on his re-sign contract

  9. Interesting hearing him and Crosby answering the same questions, just a very different perspective after having freshly won

  10. What's next ? How about a gold medal for Canada 🇨🇦

  11. 2 days later…extended for max term and the highest paid player in the league.

  12. Hair and Make-up department got a hold of Elliotte on this one…Keep taking the convertible to work bud!

  13. it's refreshing to see GOOD material again. Quit pushing dumb "content" with NHL players…make quality stuff like this

  14. worst thing to happen to the game is that overated team getting carried by refs winning

  15. It’s actually true Mr. Friedman, he just became the highest paid player on an 8 year contract. The Avs are nothing without their Superstar Centre.

  16. Two concussions already, this poor lad will be drooling into a cup all day in 10 years time.

  17. no team played Colorado better than the Blues. Such a shame they had to knock our goalie out in game 1. ah well, se la vi.

  18. I'm really curious how the current players feel playing for Colorado Avalanche knowing how strong the continuity from the glory years of the Sakic/Roy-era of the 90s and early-00s into the Landeskog/MacKinnon is? It's not often franchises have players with retired numbers go on to lead their franchise to a Stanley Cup from the front office. I wonder if MacKinnon wants to be a part of this legacy going forward beyond his playing career as well.
