  1. Another night further proving that the NHL hates Kadri. Blatent crosscheck missed and disregarded. But despite, he still just decides to dominate. What a beast. Also lovely to see Cale stand for himself. Good game. Avs keep on rolling.

  2. Avs lost against the wild because of a cross checking call. Same thing happened against kadri this game and no call.

  3. Different Team. Same Kahkonen. Despite allowing 4 goals, he did well for the Sharks who were playing on a back to back. He even robbed Makar point blank in the 1st period. However, the Avs put so much pressure (46 shots) that he eventually succumb to allowing the game winning goal.

With the game tied at one and going into the third, Bednar made a great adjustment. Lehkonen took Nichushkin's place on the 1st line. That set the wheels in motion for a dynamic third period. The Avs did everything perfectly offensively. This may be the first time this season that I can recall where all 4 lines scored a goal and none of it was an empty netter.

While everyone may know Makar for his offense, his defense is also on par. Hertl had a shorthanded breakaway and Makar poke the puck out of his stick with great precision. It was very clean and he did it without taking a penalty.

There was a scary moment late in the game as Kadri went down on the ice after getting cross-checked by Hertl in the back. He eventually shook it off and help setup Rantanen with the game winning PP goal. I don't know if he was fighting through any kind of pain, but it is absolutely clear that he knows how important it is for him to be on the ice. As for the scuffle between Makar and Barabanov, it is a message to other teams that the Avs are no pushover. They are not putting up with any more BS when the playoffs are in the horizon.

The next two games are going to be some very intense hockey as the Avs face the Penguins in a home on home series. Expect to see some great quality hockey.

  4. Sharks D are crap, no goalie has a chance with the turnovers they provide the other team. They should be embarrassed at how over paid they are.

  5. Kahkonen played really well and the Sharks stood toe-to-toe with the Avalanche, despite being on a back-to-back. Francouz played okay, but the second goal was something he wants back. I'm very worried about Kadri and how that hit will affect, whether he will have a bad injury over it. Overall, a good game.

  6. Синие шорты у Колорадо до сих пор не привыкну

  7. Nichushkin is working for that pay raise! Lets go Val, CHU CHU!! Let's resign this man.

  8. Вторую игру подряд акулы проигрывают один в один как и с кайотами…в конце две шайбы которые решили исход!))

  9. Kadri is playing so well. Dude has truly blossomed as a top tier playmaker.
