L’Avalanche du Colorado a joué deux fois dimanche lors de sa première action de matchs préparatoires. Une équipe est allée dans le nord pour affronter le Wild du Minnesota tandis qu’une autre est restée à la maison pour affronter les Golden Knights de Vegas. Malheureusement, le match du Minnesota n’était pas disponible à regarder, mais nous pouvons être fiers du fait que la majorité de cette équipe était de jeunes espoirs et a affronté une équipe du Minnesota jouant plusieurs partants. Après avoir pris du retard par deux en 2e période, les jeunes Avs ont créé l’égalité en 3e derrière des buts de Spencer Smallman et Shane Bowers. Ils finiraient par le perdre en OT, mais nous sommes sûrs que Jared Bednar, qui entraînait cette équipe, peut être fier de traîner avec les grands garçons. Dans l’autre match, beaucoup plus d’Avs prêts à faire partie de la liste officielle ont participé, ainsi que de nombreux prospects en lice pour une place dans la liste. Nous avons pu voir ce qu’Evan Rodrigues peut faire avec son tir mortel. Des jeunes comme Oskar Olausson, Jean-Luc Foudy et Alex Beaucage ont montré leur talent, tandis que Martin Kaut a eu du mal. Et qu’en est-il d’Alex Georgiev ? À quoi ressemblait-il en jouant la moitié du match? Chris était impressionné. Just curious: What are your plans regarding doing livestreams in the future? Last year it seemed like you started doing a couple, then as fast as they appeared, they disappeared. Wasn't sure why. Wondered if this season there would be any, and if so when.

I will get ragged on, and I’m no expert- BY ANY MEANS. This is about MacDermid. I realize his value as an “enforcer.” I know that he is loved by teammates, however, he is not at all athletic, comparatively speaking, of course. The Avalanche are incredibly fast and talented, and he does not fit. With all the young, fast guys with talent, I’d much rather have those guys than MacDermid. We sit 11 rows up, and we just chuckle when he’s out there. Yes, we cheer for him, but at times it’s pretty amusing.
Avs fans. Looking for a fun game? Every time Shaggy Von Doon says "like" you take a drink. You'll probably get tipsy within first ten minutes of the show.
A good start to the preseason. Georgiev, Annunen, Johansson very positive. Olausson impressed me. Foudy and Beaucage could also show that there is a lot to be very positive for the future. Evan Rodrigues showed positive signs and you could see why the Avs got him. But I wonder, if he won't be better on a wing than center, but Bednar knows. All in all a very good effort, but there is work necessary for the pp, enjoyed the game!

So fun to watch them play again. By the second they were looking great. Shame the first game wasn't aired but at least I got some stuff done around the house instead 🤣 Beaucage, Byram, Compher, Olausson, MacDonald and E Rod all looked great to me.
