With the Golden Knights trading away picks and dealing with cap issues their future looks very bleak. Eichel may not see the playoffs for awhile.

Thompsons play style is unorthodox IMO. Watching his highlights from previous games confirms this isnt just an odd game or anything. Lenghty, uses old school moves to make saves and has a lively blocker arm when plays.

Eichel with that brutal turnover that led to the hawk’s 3rd goal pretty much sums up his defensive zone play.
Just at about the same exact moment the Hawks were putting the GN's out, the Stars got the tie they needed; so a double whammy for Vegas. Better luck next year.
We all became fans of the Golden Knights during their first season because it was such a great story, now that the rich team is failing to make the playoff that's another great story, it would be even better if Gerard Gallant and the Rangers meet Marc-Andre Fleury and the Wild in the Stanley cup final

It's funny that Vegas has risen to the top of the most hated teams in such a short time. Most hockey fans were rooting for them in that first year. Gallant out and Deboer in. Seriously?
