My takes from this game. Broberg was the oilers best D man by far. He skated the puck well, stopped a couple cycles and erased guys on the boards (not with hits just good defense.) Barrie looked slow and rusty. Neimo looked better in game 1 than game 2. He was sloppy with the puck and got caught up a couple times. His physicality is unreal and the oilers need it but sadly his overall game just isn’t good enough to win a spot come opening day. If he was a RD instead maybe you trade barrie and play him there. I think Shore and Ryan played well especially considering they were in a role they aren’t ever in being the offensive drivers on a “1st line.” Benson looks pretty good, he makes great passes and showed speed and plays with that edge. Other than that everyone looked average. Yammo didnt stand out which isn’t a great sign, but he does play better when he has better line mates.

Philip Broberg IQ need work not nhl-ready
He reminds me of Jimmy Fallon.
Quite a few cuts coming after that game, sad to see, but very few stood out.
