What Tampa did was neither an embarrassment, or a disgrace. The active COVID numbers are not high, the death rate is extremely low, and overall the entire country is coming out of this. It honestly doesn't matter about what race or who Mitch bullied. You just don't treat someone like this if you have any human decency. He never apologized to the victim. If he does, it's because he got caught. I don't think he's worthy of being in the NHL, period. No teammates will want to be associated with him.

This was in 2016, So this was a while ago I’m not saying or defending what he did was right. I think what he did is an embarrassment and there is no place in sports for something like that to happen it’s not an excuse it’s awful you should never treat a person like that. However I think the storyline they should’ve made it what it was back in 2016. I think that 4 1/2 years down the road although he wasn’t in the NHL back then I still believe that there could’ve been more justice more earlier. I don’t think you should throw a guy’s career away just because of one huge problem that happened four years before he was drafted. Like I said I don’t stand by what he said it’s an awful thing to go through and I think he should apologize but it was four years ago he could have changed since then.
Not only am I shocked Mitchell Miller got drafted, but I’m also shocked that he still has his Division I scholarship from the University of North Dakota.
Arizona has been the joke of the NHL for years. I hope they lose their team to a city that deserves a hockey team. And I don't think there is any NHL player that would want Miller in their locker room.

According to a letter his mom wrote, he didn't apologize to the kid and the family DIRECTLY, and I mean face to face, so the apology really is pretty empty. If he wants to show contrition, he needs to start making amends now directly to the young man and his family. The age of Mitchell is not an excuse as there are levels of severity to a person's actions, and likewise, consequences following. This will hang over his head for the rest of his life, especially since he seemed to apologize only when he got caught and confronted with it, and to appease teams looking to draft him.
