if that's the case then why are there more leafs jerseys in the opposition's barns than there are the oppositions jersey's in our barn? Ottawa tried to make it hard for Leaf fans to watch a game at their barn and it failed.

Just because there are a lot of Leaf fans doesn't make them the most hated team. Pretty much everyone I know who isn't a Leaf fan hates the Leafs. And the only reason there are so many of them at Ottawa games is because nobody wants to deal with the drunk jackass university students from southern Ontario that can't afford tickets to a game in Toronto
really? because the way I see it is the fans of the sport make a team hated or liked. and since the leafs have a ton of fans across the nation vs oh I dunno the Sens for example. Fans get drunk. And Ottawa can't fill their own rink with their own fans. Ticket prices as far as I am aware are just the same in Ottawa as they are in Toronto and to counter you on the prices. looks like they charge more for games vs the leafs than the rest of the league. I bet if Ottawa sold the rest of their tickets at the same rate they'd have no fans period.

Prices in Ottawa don't even come close to the prices in Toronto. Average ticket prices in Toronto are $30 above the next highest in the league (Montreal). After that I believe it's New York, Vancouver, Boston, Pittsburgh, and then I think Ottawa.
My point was not on the comparison of tix from across the league. When i made the comment i checkd the prices of the Tickets for the sens vs the teams that were to be played. Every team there that the sens played were something like 20-30 dollars less than the tickets for games vs the leafs for the same cheap seats. i don't recall the higher end ticket prices. I know that as a leaf fan i am being juiced at the booth for ticket prices. but that's not the issue.

Winnepeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa are too small and nobody cares about them.
Toronto is the best city in Canada and the Leafs are capable of bringing Canadians together. Every Saturday night, Canadians (not only in Toronto but across the country) tune in to HNIC to watch the blue and white.
Leafs are the most beloved (also most hated) team and they are Canada's team. All other fanbases are jealous bc we have the biggest fanbase. Our fanbase is all of Canada. Deal with it.
