Gotta feel bad for Treliving here. But I don’t blame him for not trading Gaudreau. They were legit cup contenders last year. It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise, as signing Gaudreau might have handcuffed them financially for years. 10.5 is a lot to spend on a player who disappears in the post season. I think that money is better spent on Tkachuk, if they can convince him to stay.
