its a start but by no means is this the saviour of the team signing. This is just one piece of the puzzle. Lets see what the rest of the moves are.
If Van moves Brandon Sutter and Alex Chaison to say Phoenix and Ottawa for Chaison,they could pick up Namestikov
Next move Boeser and Canucks 15th pick to N.J.s 2nd overall pick and Right Defenceman Shakir Mukhamadullin.
Now Podkolzin and Kuzmenko should team up and convince Tryamkin to come back.
Is he going to be eligible for rookie race?
more realistic reason for Kuzmenko signing than Podkolzin is that Boudreau worked with ovechkin for many years and turned him unto a superstar
Youve gotta believe that its Pearsons spot that Kuzmenko is taking. Low end thats a wash for way less money, high end he works out with Bo and it ends up being an upgrade.
Pearson is at his highest value right now, and he doesnt match the age range of the players in Vancouvers perspective competetive window.
As much as i like the player, if we can move his contract and negotiqte Boeser to a reasonable 3 year deal you might be able to sign JT and still have aome flexibility
