    Red WIngs fan, here, and happy with the effort that the boys put in today, particularly without Dylan L. in the mix. Ned's fine development continues apace and the last SJ goal's just one of those things that will happen from time to time — credit to Couture, for following the play. Great to see the grit and steel that Givani Smith is bringing to the Red Wings' play, very much hope that Blash will keep him in the line-up. Finally, NOT usually one to blame/pick on the refs, when the cards don't fall in our favor, BUT that second Sharks goal was questionable, no?!

    It’s really gross how toxic the comments are every single time there is a highlight reel with Leah Hextall on it. I think she’s doing well, and has improved week over week throughout the season, which is honestly all you can ask for in a first year play by play commentator.

    Timo Meier and Tomas Hertl are literally men amongst boys these days. Timo leading the league in 5v5 points per 60 and Hertl coming in the clutch when the chips are down. Not to mention Burns has 8 point in the last 5. That was not a mistake by Dahlen, he's made plays like that all year. Espn is doing it's best to discredit good plays.

    Lots of things wrong w/this game…bad audio, cannot hear the announcers clearly. Female announcer sounds like someone pulled a tampoon outta her vag everytime she says SCORE. 4th (SJ) goal shouldn't have counted because it was clearly interference!

    Leddy with the killer end to end goal. Then he gets high sticked in the face on the last goal (unintentional) which looks like it hurt. Such a good player, solid D man

    Nothing annoys me more to see in the comment sections of NHL highlight videos. Then fans who clearly don't understand the rules bitching about how certain goals counted when they shouldn't have. As have seen countless fans on both this and the NHL channel highlights bitching about how the last two San Jose Goals shouldn't have counted and how the refs blew the game. Which means they clearly don't understand said rules they are bitching about. Or didn't watch the game where they clearly tell you why both goals counted.

    For those fans let me explain why both goals were clear as day legit. The first wasn't goalie interference. Due to the fact that the Sharks forward was taken down from behind by the contact of the defender. Which when that happens and the forward can't at all do anything to avoid the goalie then the goal counts because it isn't interference and he never intentionally did anything to prevent him from making the save. Next time maybe the Wings defender won't allow a 4th line forward known for his fighting blow right past him to the net. Or if they do maybe he does't do anything to knock him off his feet.

    And the 2nd goal was even more obvious for why it counted. And that is because the Wings goalie didn't have the puck covered. He did for a split second with his glove but he was using his glove to take make sure the puck didn't cross the line yet right after that he losses the puck with it being cleanly up for grabs for it to be pushed across the line which is exactly what Couture did.

    God damn the Wings need to clean up their defensive mistakes, I get we’re a young team, but you can’t leave guys WIDE open far side of the net in OT.
