Cross Hanas is my most anticipated non-swedish prospect. Dude's gonna surprise some people
Could turn into one of the best steals of the 2020 draft. It's incredible how fast the kids we got are progressing. Usually other teams are hearing of their later round prospects 3-4 years later. Kids all over the place making noise.
He was a product of the Dallas Stars youth program for about 4 years.
Yet in this draft Dallas traded some picks away and by the time they selected again Cross was already selected by Detroit.
I've known about him too, kids going to be a 🌟 and a special player for the red wings in the coming years. Huge steal by Yzerman. And a smart pick up with the defense we have coming in. My God the amount of prospects the wings have is almost overwhelming. And they're about to pour in within the next 2 years. BTW. I think the wings are 100% playoff team next season, especially if everything goes as it should. Then I've got no doubt.
Can't wait till his rookie season so he can score a lacrosse goal and like Anaheim "fans" we can claim that alone should win him a calder 🤣
Yzerman got so many picks the last few years that he was able to have the opportunity to take chances on High potential boon or bust types. If we miss on 4 picks but hit really really well on even 1, we got a net positive.

Stevie listens to his scouts. He has scouts everywhere who are very good, he trusts thier opinions. If they say the best player is Joe Smith, he drafts Joe Smith. He allows these draft picks to grow and eventually many of them become players in the NHL. Stevies genius is that he isn't the smartest man in the room, he has learned to listen to the smartest men in the room!
