  1. couldn't even get 25 in russia but he will in the nhl ? what a bad hot take lol

can't believe you called him a super star, such a superstar he signed for under a million dllars a year lol 😭

  2. I'd say 40 pts maybe and most coming in first half of season . Never played close to an 82 game schedule , take a look at defensemen in KHL .

  3. There is no center in 3rd line for help two russian wingers grow up, no way to PO without 3rd and 4th line center

  4. Bo horvat had 52 points. Dump horvat for a rhd and this guy will easily make up for that emotionless losers production.

  5. I hope so, kind of, because if he gets 25 goals he's going to want 7 million next year.

  6. kuzmenko will score 64 points due to the huge depth of centers and supporting wingers. He will then be traded at the deadline for a boat load of assets. It works out for both him and the Canucks. He gets a massive long term deal and the Canucks get lots of young prospects. I think it should be a very exciting team to watch this year, they will be a force.

  7. if he ends up a second line player. i would be happy with that

  8. Imo If he can get some 1st, 2nd line minutes or play with the legit stars pass/shoot players, I mean the sky is the limit for him, And if it is a success for him, Than a hidden 💎 is found but hey 1st Year 1 year if he decides to stay, then money becomes an issue 😉 Let's say he gets 30gs 45a 75pts Now datta be Wow
And yet say 20g 30 50pts, Still a success if he plays 15, mins an sees PP time
    Anything is possible.

  9. They should start him on the 3rd line with Captain Bo and Pearson!
Top 2 lines Mikheyev Miller Garland and Podkolzin Pettersson Boeser
Hopefully Hoglander can turn it around and force Pearson down to the 4th line!

  10. A lot of people getting attached to a guy who could shine, and then leave for Florida in a year…

  11. Kuzmenko will be great! Put him with Petey and another Russian and they will play a dazzling European style hockey and produce many points. I think Kuzmenko should make at least 50 points and take the Calder.

  12. I wonder… if Kuzmenko has a really good year.. how will the Canucks afford his next contract?

  13. The other day I made a prediction that Kuzmenko would get 49 Points. I wasn't predicting goals/assists, but I guess in my head I felt it would be more like 20/29/49. Admittedly that was based on the smallest amount of research. lmao. And being optimistic.

I think next season is going to be excellent. We're going to hopefully be playing even better than the last 2/3 of last season, given that we won't have the weight of making up for that first 1/3. We have the same core. We're definitely lacking on D though. I hope we can make some changes there.
But I think that with the amazing core we have, everyone will be elevated by the great play of Miller, Hughes, Petterson, Demko, Horvat. I think Kuzmenko, Podkolzin, Garland, Pearson, Mikheyev will be elevated to their greater potential by this core. And it sounds like they're trying to make this happen, instead of bulking all the big guys together.
And hey, maybe OEL will start playing like a 7.2mil player too. That'd be nice.

Everybody is caught up in the fact that the Miller extension isn't great for the team long term. I get that. I see people wanting to find the best possible route to an elusive first cup. I'm personally more concerned with seeing our team play well consistently. I want to enjoy the Canucks. A cup would be awesome, but if we got rid of Miller, our team would probably have fallen apart for a few years, and I would be constantly sad. lmao. We had 249 goals-for last season, and Miller was involved in 99 of those. Imagine taking away 40% of our goals and only having 150 goals-for in a season, just because he's a little older than people like. Plus if we got rid of him, an already 100 point player, in the hopes that we could cultivate more, and then we don't, that would be stupid. I constantly see us getting rid of good players and never really making up for it. I'm sure thats on management, but its still a thing.

I also don't think that what we have now is entirely not cup worthy. I certianly think that if all of our players play to their full potential we're easily a contender – but no team has every player playing to their potential. But hey, I'm optimistic.

  14. "3rd" line kuzmenko, bo, mikheyev…… I think it's a line that will mix well and play up and down….. Put pods with Petey and keep 6,9 together!!!!
