Great informative show as always Gil! —-Let’s see, two goals in two games—sounds about right. Personally, these two games are microcosms of the majority of the season. We just don’t have offense coming up (minus Ratty and Dufor) and once we play a full team, sorry so does everyone else. Boys, we will win our share of games, we will make a run or two for a spot—-but I have to admit—-when we “need a real big game or two” we will get a goal or two at best. Ya can’t come to a shootout with water guns. Panicking? Of course not! Facing reality soon—-100 percent. Say what you will boys, we just don’t have the firepower to challenge—-we just don’t. Had we traded for Debrincat, I’d have hope. I mean what did he cost? An excellent sniper was traded for literally nothing. The same way our “masterful Gm” overpays bottom six guys, he should have offered more than the Senators. I don’t feel he made any effort, if he had, we’d have hope! He made no effort and then he said that to paraphrase “There was not a free agent that fit our system” a couple weeks ago. Does anyone really truly believe that? Boys, anyone believe that? Defend the Gm all anyone wants to—-we are in for a dietary offensive season. Can’t win that way—-sorry I’m being realistic—-the same lugs missing the net——stuck on mud——I love Parise—-but if Barzie chose him to play with——we’re screwed. Parise cannot be Barzie’s first line winger.
