I think ya forgot bout Dylan Samberg. If he is able to make the jump to the Jets, we could have a very strong and young blue line next year.
If we're able to finally take care of the Buff contract (please don't sign anywhere else buff..you'll break my heart), then I'd like to see Chevy make a run for a potential 2C. Galchenyuk, Haula; Mikael Granlund would be my dream adding another Finn. Even Brassard. Just a short 1-2 year contract for some of the guys that are looking for a fresh start or bounce back years. I think we're in a good spot going into free agency in a year that there might be less demand if the cap ends up going down. Meanwhile hopefully we can draft a solid centre this year and they'll take over the 2C role in the future.
The Jets may pull off a blockbuster trade involving Laine to get that 2nd line centre as he is on a bridge contract and he may ask for more than the Jets would be willing to pay

Agreed-a well managed team. If those young D-men step up to NHL level, they will be formidable. Need a goalie tandem, imo. I could say that about a lot of teams and goalie contracts must be difficult. Everyone wants a starter as a back-up, for not a lot of money. Hellybuyk is overworked.
Jets made a big mistake buy sending heinola back to finland. In 29 games he only got 7 points.

We need to give Shannon more credit on his prediction on Pionk. He said it was a smart move and saw the potential in him. He ended up playing the best hockey of his life and has been the heart and soul of the blueline whole season.
I think Dylan samberg along with heinola will form a solid top 4 of the future with morrissey and pionk. Samberg is a big physicsl shutdown dman who was almost point per game in college. I think he will make the team next year while Heinola will spend one more year in the AHL. What we really need to address is a long term 2C. Has been our issue for a long while. Maybe a trade for someone like Domi? We could give them Vesalainen and a first in 2021 with a few smaller adds.

I don’t agree with those that say Bryan Littles contract is a bad one. Some say he gets injured a lot but he had played 2 full seasons before this one and honestly you can’t blame the man for a puck to the head. It was looking like this was gonna be a banner year….2 goals and 3 assists in 7 games. Perreault on the other hand, we now have both Appleton and Harkins that play his style of play. I wouldn’t mind much if he was moved.

Great video. I always admire your work as it is a very honest opinion on a lot of the teams. What I would recommend in the future for your videos because they can be fairly long. I would add a quick summary with a little popup graphic at the start of the video. Then include time stamps for each category that you might talk about. I understand that the whiteboard is your style but I could see the channel growing a lot more and you could move on to more computer-generated stuff if you want in the future. But then again it's your style you do you. Thanks

Correction. Byfuglien contract is already dealt with and there are only a few options. He returns to play next season, traded or his contract termination gets finalized. That being said it looks more and more likely the contract will just be terminated.

Logan Stanley is just a physical player in the ahl now at his best a 3rd line D and Berdin is really good in the ahl they should give him a shot at the backup job

Logan Stanley IMHO during the preseason really, really underperformed and looked like a big pylon. It might’ve been nerves honestly, but it was pretty noticeable.
Buff has no intention of playing hockey again. All this crap is his agent's doing.
Kulikov is a pylon. They can't wait to get his contract off the books. Last year when they were having all those issues with giving up goals in the last minute of games it was Kulikov and Myers on the ice.

After coming to an agreement to terminate the contract last year, Dustin Byfuglen's contract is no longer on the Jets books. The Jets have that amount of money to spend else where.
