Claude Giroux is going to have a massive impact in Ottawa on our young guys. Health Stützle with draws, Brady with leadership and I think I’m most excited to see how he impacts Shane Pinto Who plays the game like a mini Claude Giroux. Ottawa needs a top 4 RD And I think they can make the playoffs and make some noise as early as this year

Always had a soft spot for Ottowa even more so since they drafted my fellow countryman Tim. Excited for what the nfurture holds for the Sens. Always love Claude, this is an awesome homecoming story. I also like how he knows that this is a mid term plan, when he said they probably wont win it all next year.

Told ya-should've came to Denver instead of those frauds in Florida…you could be a Cup champ right now. But Ottawa does seem to have a bright future. You aren't winning no Cup next yr-playoffs will be tough enough in that insane division,& conference. But in 2-3 yrs,I could maybe see contending for a Cup as a possibility.
But next time,don't pick your team based on ego-insisting on having to be GUARANTEED to be on the top line. I think maybe he did learn-went home where he feels comfortable. His rumored reasons for picking Florida were always goofy-the weather,& being on #1 line-over winning.
But thank God he went to Florida,or we never get Lehkonen. Giroux is the better player obviously. But Lehkonen was a better fit-improved weaknesses we had. Other than faceoffs,Giroux wouldn't have improved any weaknesses-just made strengths ridiculously strong. But if ya never get your Cup-don't say we didn't warn ya.
