1. Speaking to your final point, MacKinnon won the Lady Byng trophy, and returned a guy's helmet straight to the face, so apparently not even winning the Lady Byng keeps you from that.

  2. I strongly disagree with his feet head n hands talk as a good player always makes a plan first before u even get the puck. Good players which is all nhl players are taught growing up to always think about what you'd do if the puck comes to u so your always looking for a play especially without the puck otherwise one time passes/shots wouldnt exist. Plan plan plan, feet hands n then plan more

  3. McDavid is the best offensive player in the world but Nathan Mac is by far the best hockey player in the world.

  4. I'm going to say probably the Avs in 5. I think they will steal one in Edmonton. The Avalanche have not lost on the road yet this year.

  5. I knew it was over for the Oilers as soon as you picked them to beat Colorado. JK

  6. im an oilers fan and I still think that the oilers line up is shallow idk why they are dressing kassian and archibald they dont contribute at all id rather play holloway and broberg or russel, go 7 and 11 because nurse is injured af he cant skate and is making terrible plays for a 9 million dollar player same money as makar… I expect a lot more from him.

  7. As an Avs fan man I like to be very meek… I don't want to get cocky because when I do it always ends up bad. Luckily, this has nothing to do with me and these Avs I feel are sharks right now. They can smell blood in the water. I have always been worried about the avs sometimes daydreaming defense. You catch them dreaming and you have a chance but they seem to be fully awake after last game so keep it up and call in the Sandman cause this dream could be a nightmare. For the record I am saying avs in 5.

  8. Your wrong bro, Darnell Nurse is not elite just because Edmonton threw 9.25 mill at him. Hes not worth it.him and Seth Jones are the most overrated, overpaid d men in the league.

  9. You can tell who the real fans are compared to the average fan that defends their team no matter what. Real fans aren’t afraid to call their team out and admit the holes they have. Edmonton is a team that is extremely blessed to have been gifted McDavid, who some are already calling one of the greatest players of all time. I’m sorry to break it to you Oilers fans, but McDavid and Draisaitl are the Oilers. Whoever that winger is that plays with them will always look good. That’s not to say Kane, RNH, and Hyman are bad, but they aren’t elite by any stretch. How often does Edmonton score 3-4 goals, and McDavid and Draisaitl only helped on one? How often does a player not named McDavid or Draisaitl lead the team in points in a game? How often does Edmonton win games 2-1 or 1-0? This team relies on those two players so heavily because they do not have any depth. They are forced to score 4+ goals to win games.

I’m sorry to tell you, but this offseason won’t be any different. Edmonton has 7 million in cap space to resign/replace, Kane, Puljujarvi, Yamamoto, McLeod, Archibald, Brassard, Kulak, Russell, and Koskinen. My advice? Ditch Kane unless he can come back for dirt cheap. Yes he is good but if he is asking for 5+ then its not worth it. I’m sure guys like Broberg, Holloway, and Skinner will come up too which will help. But Edmonton desperately needs some scoring help in their middle six and a line they can confidently call their shutdown line. With only 7 million in cap space and a ton of guys to replace, that won’t happen.

  10. Kane thought he'd get the best of Makar. SORRY KANE.. MAKAR GOT THE BEST OF YOU! The best revenge is the win! AVALANCHE WILL WIN THE CUP 🏆

  11. I dunno, I believe the Oilers can upset the Aves. But this next game at Oilers home stadium is a MUST win. That's their home and they need to defend it like it is.

  12. Why is no one talking about McDavid's breakaway where Makar is skating backwards and casually takes the puck away from the most lauded player in the league?
