Drurys gonna do somethin. What, I have no idea but if this team is gonna make the jump from very good regular season team and kinda bubble playoff team, he must restructure the 2nd line I.e replacing Strome for starters. Good teammate, decent enough regular season player but just not enough.
Copp should resign I believe, but if they resign him that makes it all but impossible to get someone new. He’ll have to be a magician this summer
I think a full season of Kreider-Mika-Vatrano would be good to add to the already existing chemistry.

As much as believe KK and NL to be highly skilled, smooth skating players, I also don’t believe that the NYR is the best team to bring out what talent they have. It’s easier to talk of KK because we’ve seen him play for the better part of three seasons. Again, I don’t see KK thriving on the NYR, through no fault of his own, but I can imagine him doing better on a team like Calgary or Edmonton. Heck, even on Los Angeles.
