The Preds and their fans were hopeful then Toews and Big Val just cut their beating heart out… that was fun to watch, esp. after Nashville was crowing after their two BS regular season "wins" (one cos of a terrible penalty call and the other cos half our team was out on co-vid protocol). Tasty tasty tasty!!!
I like Avalanche but it's fun and games until 2nd round.

In my mind (and I try my best not to be a homer), Makar is now the best player in the world, ahead of McDavid and our very own Nathan MacKinnon, who are two great, great players. How Roman Josi ended up with more points in the regular season, is a complete mystery to me, because when you watch the two, the skill level is just not close. And no, Josi doesn't suck, as fun as it is to pick on Nashville players. He's obviously a very good offensive player, but the way Makar effects play in all situations is unparalleled. Cale's stats were impressive enough in the regular season, but they really don't tell the whole story.
This series, for whoever watched it, went much further in demonstrating just how good he is at this game.
Nashville has one excuse though, it's spelled Juuse Saros.
Unbelievable to me that NO CAMERA on any telecast i found was able to capture Landy/EJ and Duchene in the handshake line. I really wanted to see that. At least we got Mac and Duchy.
