  1. There are so many other places that Anderson would fit besides Columbus. I mean yeah, they have Kent Johnson, Patrik Laine, Voracek, Sillinger, Boqvist, Chinakov, and that doesn’t even count Bjorkstrand being among that group.

I guess my main question is kind of, why though? Like if you said Anderson might end up in Boston or Toronto as part of a cost control thing I could see why that’s a positive overall. But Columbus? He won’t get top six minutes and if he did he would get them over players who quite frankly need to be playing.

And I don’t even know what the return would be at this stage of the game. Montreal has Hoffman, Dadonov, Gallagher, Caufield, Suzuki, probably Wright…I think I would rather have Anderson riding shotgun with Wright over having Mike Hoffman and Dadonov on either side of him.

Just feels a little strange all around, I actually wouldn’t be that shocked if Anderson wasn’t traded until post free agency starting. Think about it…if Calgary loses Gaudreau and has to make a move to swap Monahan out for equal money, Montreal is one of the few teams who could swallow that cap dump or buy it out directly in exchange for Anderson. And if Nashville were to lose Forsberg? Same boat. They got so many guys locked down they would almost be forced into doing something by default.

I like Anderson a ton and wouldn’t be shocked if he ended up in any of the above places, hell I wouldn’t be that shocked if Anderson ended up in Colorado as part of the replacement for Nichushkin and Burakovsky. Or if the arbitrator rule that Evander Kane was unfairly bought out there is always a chance Edmonton brings him in to round out there group too.

  2. draft slafkosvky first then new jersey is screwed , they dont realy need shane wright, give them anderson + our other first pick and the 33 for the second draft pick overall

  3. Dude we should get Xavier Bourgault from Edmonton, that would be pretty cool and he would fit better with our window!

  4. North south but hes not a good sniper at all. He lost the puck most of the times when he get that shoulder down to the net. I would loved to have a top 10 in the first round for him .

  5. We should be all in with the Devils to get their second pick. The Devils want established wingers for their young Centers? Would a package starting with Josh Anderson, the Habs 27 pick from the Calgary trade and a solid prospect be sufficient ?

  6. in a interview in french kent said hes not going anywhere and will be part of the reconstruction

  7. Why does nobody consider what the CBJ roster looks like before discussing any of these rumours? All you have to do is take 5 minutes to look up their situation on capfriendly and you'll see that they are swamped with forwards and have multiple solid young players coming up. There is no logic to them trading away bundles from their potential future core players to put themselves in a position to compete for 7th or 8th place for the next 3-4 years. They will keep their young players, they will use their picks and they will build a team that will be in playoff contention for 8+ years starting in 2-3 years from now.

  8. Anderson was thrown around a couple times in podcasts as possible trade bait this off-season. When the Habs won the first pick and I heard Jersey might be interested in a trade for their pick I was on it mentally. If we could get these top 2 picks we could really move forward this re-build. After all, you would expect Hughes to try and make a splash at his first draft so I come up with and possible trade package that could get that 2nd pick. It was Anderson and our 26th pick for Jersey's 2nd pick. I suggested this possibility on every hockey video I could find including this channel. I got crucified by Jersey fans and Habs fans over the suggestion. I'm not saying I started this because I don't make vids but I was out front of it from the start. One thing I've learned from this, most fans don't know sh*t about the business of hockey. Cheers

  9. We have to get rid of GALLAGHER first. then DROUIN then SAVARD.
    We need Anderson.

  10. Everthing on this channel is fantasy gossip girl material
Talk about trades when they happen.
    Click Bait 90%

  11. Anderson ASKED to be traded from CBJ!!! He refused to sign for more than one year. He planned on leaving the next year as a free agent. He WANTED OUT…doubt Jarmo would want him back. Positive Anderson wouldn't want to go back.

  12. Habs Draft slafkovsky and trade Anderson to get a top 10 pick to try and get Cutter Gauthier… i would see if i can give 1st (26) and Anderson for Columbus 1st round pick (6th)

  13. Anderson petry flames first round pick and laval goalie cayden to devils for 2 pick first round another bad contract that. Should get it done devils get a goalie on the rise good defenseman winger that is able to score 20 to 30 goals and first round propect

  14. Mattews led the leafs in hits in the playoffs and we know if he used that energy in offensive oppertunities would be more successful production wise so josh Anderson charging the net giving Mattews and Marner more access to the net would give more oppertunity to score. So trade Anderson to the leafs or Edmonton would lessen the load and allow opertunity to score.. Nealander would look great with Suzuki and Caulfeld..win win.

  15. Alright. If I'm being honest, there aren't really any young players/prospects in the Columbus pipeline that really catch my eye. What I do see however, is that Columbus has the 12th overall pick. Obviously the 6th overall pick Columbus currently holds via Chicago would likely be out of reach in terms of value. But I could see the 12th pick being involved. Maybe for that pick, you throw in Anderson, the 33rd overall pick from Edmonton, and a couple prospects like Hillis (C) and Norlinder (D). Both of these guys have potential, and might benefit more if they were in a different system. It's just an idea, but the 12th pick would be the only thing I'd want to see from a trade with Columbus.

  16. I'm getting real tired of hearing about Anderson getting traded ….he's not going anywhere…..
