  1. Winnipeg born, Winnipeg Jets fan. It's going to come down to who is the GM / President of Operations in the summer. If Chevy is still GM, PLD will sign for $8M for 2 years tops. Then Chevy has a decision to make, be okay with that and hope to build a winning team that PLD wants to stay on and then sign him longer after that or PLD says, "bleep this team, it's just not going to be good enough" and then he says, "I don't want to be here" and Chevy has to trade him. "IF" and ideally it happens, Chevy is out for a winning GM or WPG gets a hockey boss that puts the boots to Chevy, they may entice PLD to stick around longer with the premise that it's going to be his team and give him the C and Scheifele is dealt and Wheeler is bought out or takes a back seat role on the team.

If that second option happens, PLD is signed for $8M for 3 to 5 years, Scheifele is dealt and who cares about Wheeler. Then, the new GM and/or President of Hockey Ops fires all the coaches, makes the new coach play Comrie more and they bring up Samberg, Heinola, Chisholm and maybe Kovacevic and dump everyone except Morrissey and Pionk that's currently on the D roster and they have a much better team that's based on hard work, grit, etc… no more Scheifele and his pokey pokey puck offense where he refuses to carry the puck in traffic or ever go get it.

Make a video on how much a little princess Scheifele is so everyone can see his style. Oh hang on, maybe not. If you make a video on Scheifele, other teams may see it and his value will be 0.

  2. As a life king CBJ fan I’ve seen too many players want out of Columbus but for solid reasons. PLD always has been in the back of my head though because he never gave a reason. Not that I myself or anyone is owed a reasoning by Dubois but I could see him doing something similar in Winnipeg. Hopefully not for the sake of their fan base

  3. I kinda agree with you on some things but he hasn’t pushed mark sheifele to back seat. His stats on the NHL app says otherwise. Sheifele plays more minutes & has more points, shiefele has 70 points while Dubois has 58?.

  4. You know what? I think that there’s a good possibility that most of Dubois’ issues about playing in Columbus are no longer in place. It would amuse the heck out of me if Kekalainen made an offer on PLD this draft.

  5. I’d love to see him go to the RedWings for Zadina sundqvist and maybe 2 draft pics he would be great on a team with younger players where he could be that top player he would be a 70pt player for the redwings and

  6. Could be a cheaper option than Miller …….. But, that being said. I still want Miller. I think Miller has more too offer in Vancouver

  7. Love the channel Lego! Keep up the good work. As a Dallas Stars fan I'd like to see PLD in Dallas but I don't see them able to make it happen.

  8. As a Jets fan this would sadden me, a bunch of other pieces that could go before him, Mark would be my first trade.

  9. I have mentioned this before PLD would be great trade fit for the JETS we have the best Defense in the League and the best D prospects not suspects in the league and we have two years to figure out the money works for me. If the Jets wanted him gone next year we can do it as well but they must take back money How about Touba for PLD straight up his NMC doesn’t kick in for awhile

  10. So as a canucks fan what do you think about me wanting a Boeser and Dubois trade?, I feel like it would definitely need to involve someone else but I can’t figure out who, I kinda wanna get rid of Mylers but I don’t think he’d go back to Winnipeg lol. But with Podkolzin and Hoglander seeming to be developing wonderfully it could be possible? Wheeler is also not getting any younger lol.

  11. What about Montreal? Drou would probably like a new beggining and I'm sure Hughes could find a young prospect and picks in this year's draft to build an interesting pack for PLD.

  12. With what it would cost to get him, it would almost have to be a “sign and trade” scenario. Pierre Dorion in Ottawa might be salivating at the prospect of adding a big, power center who can score. Don’t do it, Pierre. Not unless it comes with a contract extension.

    Personally, I’d prefer not to.

  13. Jets fan here: PLD is already overrated and overpaid, we don’t want him in the jets so you can take him for free.

  14. HOPEFULLY IT DIDNT HAPPEN BUD I THINK HE GONNA RESIGN AS A JETS IN A LONG TERM BECAUSE HIS DAD IS A ASSISTANT COACHING STAFF WITH THE MOOSE SO I DIDNT WANT HIM TO GO ANYWHERE.

  15. I Don't Get It. This is probably The First Year that it doesn't look as if The Columbus Blue Jackets Fleeced The Winnipeg Jets In The DuBois For Laine And Roslovic Trade. DuBois Is Not Only The Playmaker He Was In Columbus, But, Has Shown Great Goal Scorer Potential. Likewise, In Columbus, you continue to hear that Laine might be traded. I think that it's not The Trade/Players In The Trade, But, Other Parts Of The Teams That Need Changing. Let Me Know What You Think

  16. It's Also Their Weird Logic Of The Pionk Trader/Contract. It Seems Like The Jets Decided To Pay Pionk Too Much, Which, If Done (Given What The Rangers Paid Trouba After The Trade), Would Artificially Mean That They Won The Trade, Whether Or Not The Case, In Reality.

  17. Every jet except goalie,PLD,Connor should be on trade block. We need to rebuild and it's not scheifele or wheeler Ehlers Stastny pionk Morrissey arnt good players it's the main core has had 6-10yrs and done very little.

  18. Touba has term at $8M PLD not worth $8M today but it better than pay Strome $6.5 we as Rangers can make it happen because of his age and Top line Centers rarely make it into the Market and he is a legitimate 2C on a Stanley Cup winning team at least
So Touba and Nameth and SKinner Chytl we can make that happen

  19. I don’t even care, this team is old and soft and ain’t goin anywhere any time soon with this roster.

  20. This guy clearly likes to soak in the jets misery, It’s like he’s talking like the jets are a farm team for the rest of the NHL to pick a part their roster

  21. It’s like why even bother having a franchise if players dont want to play in Winnipeg ,like what’s the point, This is why I hate sports sometimes

  22. This just proves that the NHL is not for a small-market teams like Winnipeg and it’s a travesty considering how devoted Winnipeg fans are to their team

  23. I think it might depend on who’s coaching actually, if it’s Trotz PLD might want to stay long term. All depends, he has all the ability to be a great two way centre in this league, even one of the best. Him and Connor were very very good together that might lend a hand too. It’s really going to come down to what’s happening in the dressing room. In my opinion Trotz settles everyone down, and wheeler could be the odd man out in the end.
