Awesome first period, good start to the second and it all went downhill from there. Too sloppy in their own zone and despite the refs, think Pens earned it more
Rangers were out coached in the second period by the penguins.
You know, I'm disappointed in the result but I think given the team's general lack of playoff experience and other factors the result is pretty decent. I think its a good first showing and the Rangers just have to come back for game 2 and play hard. I also think there was no way for Kakko to go anywhere else but thats irrelevant now. Overall I think this just shows if the Rangers want to win they're going to have to be able to make it no contest, no mercy on these flightless ass birds.
