I wouldn't do it. Broberg, Holloway & McLeod is too much to give away. The ONLY way I can go ahead with this trade is if Patrick Kane is the missing piece for the Oilers to win the cup!

No shot Oilers would make that trade. PK would be a fantastic addition obviously but you can't trade the farm for only one year.
Way to much prospects for kane for only 1 year I don’t think there is a chance that they do that trade but they can do other stuff like Barrie foegle those are probably the 2 players for me and a prospect

we all know the teams kane will go to, have next to no cap space. so we'll be eating half.

plus it'll likely have a 2nd and another shitter prospect id say the oils are 3rd in line.

Edmonton had a good run in the playoffs last year but they were missing something. Don’t know if this trade goes down, a lot of variables to consider but if I were Chicago I would do it. Maybe less assets and retain some of Kane’s salary gets it done.

Patrick Kane isn't going anywhere until the TDL, He's already said that he plans on staying with Chicago until the TDL out of loyalty to the organization. And i can't see him going to Edmonton. Toronto or the Rangers are the most likely scenario.
Prospects are nice. Parades are better
as a non-Oiler fan who lives close to Edmonton and watches 65/70 games a year. Here is my take. I love watching Edmonton play and love the offense the team brings. You are so close now, you finally have a top 10 goalie. (That's why you lost over Connors's time here so far, terrible goaltending) But you need Defensemen. if you don't get 2 better Defensemen you will never beat Colorado and Markstrom will NOT let in 10 goals a game like he did this year and they are better than you. Don't sign Kane. get 2 defensemen or you won't get past the second round this upcoming year.
As an Avs fan, I would not approve of trade.
