Value can vary. Right now it's a great deal. In 4 years (or 5 for Huberdeau) it may not be so. We'll see in the fullness of time BUT having said all of that this was a necessary deal. Resigning them was also needed. If it didn't happen it would have been a disaster. Great vid as always. Take care all.

So 17.25 million cap hit per year for 2 players? Both who are at their peak and will now only decline? No thanks. Florida offloaded two headaches who wanted way to much money. I’m a Panthers 🐆 fan and I’m ecstatic this trade happened. It’s a chess game. How is this going to look 3 years from now?

I’m a Panthers fan and we are LAUGHING at you all for thinking you got a great player. Weegar is a terrible defenseman. I have watched easily a hundred of his games. He was an absolute liability in the playoffs. I was there in game 2 against the Lightning when Weegar, with three seconds left, lost us the game. Thanks for the trade, boys.
