They might be in the running for Connor Bedard in the 2023 draft.
Nice job boys, I thought I was down on the Caps, the Flyers could be in the mix for Bedard after listening to this interview. They have a great broadcast team for sure Al Morganti, Taryn Hatcher (🥵), Keith Jones, Jim Jackson some of the best broadcasters in the NHL. I also love Torts, but I don’t know how that will be received in Philly. Thought it was a good hire.

Fletcher does not have a overriding plan. He is not looking ahead in terms of two or three moves down the road. He is not a good negotiator, and now has a pretty horrendous track record as Flyers GM. Show him the door before he does more damage.
Hello guys, Flyers fan here since the glory days of the 70's so this is hard for me. Fletcher & the ownership promised an "aggressive retool" but did next to nothing. Granted they have no salary cap space but it appears they didn't even try. Their roster is full of injury-prone players, overly-hyped under-achievers, & unproven AHL'ers. Write off Ellis as damaged goods that will not return. Risto is physical, yes, but a defensive liability & penalty waiting to happen. So now they've added Deslauriers & resigned McKewen, 2 of the same mold. DeAngelo will be counted on to be a 1st pair star, which he's not. Resigning Braun & Cunnaton, 2 aging slow-footed penalty & turnover prone defenseman is a head-scratcher to me. Young players Farabee, Allison, Frost, Brink are all injury prone. Can't remember the source, but I read the predicted power rankings —- 31st worst for power play, 29th worst for penalty kill. Out of 32 teams in the league. Yeah – it's going to be that bad.
