I'm not concerned with a slight dip in his save % which is probably due to him playing that many more games. Those playoff numbers are seriously impressive though and that's real good news here. Also Steve Y is absolutely right to shut down talk about Cossa making the NHL next season, this guy needs time to develop and he's going to have it. I don't know what others think here but I'm still expecting the Wings to draft a goalie this year. It's likely to be a later, say 5th round selection and I was wondering what you might think about either Mason Beaupit or Dylan Silverstein????

Hangups on Wallstedt was he was not a great puck handler outside the crease. Minimal if no poke check abilities, athleticism, and rarely see him challenge the puck carrier beyond the top of the blue paint. Cossa probably has his own things to work on.

Really hard for me to judge his "amazing" stats when his team infront of him has been so good.. He hasn't had good stints in the prospect tourney/ red an white games, or the iihf, so do think there's gunna be growing pains when he's playing AGAINST more evenly matched clubs, when he has to show his actual skill that we're all hoping he has.
