You gotta get rid of these players like Eichel as soon as you can. These players who are all talent but not good people will ruin your franchise. This was the problem with the Buffalo Bills for 20 years as well. We had no problem aquiring the talent but you got to build a team foundation brick by brick. It wasn't untill Sean McDermott/Brandon Beane came into town and fumigated the entire building of the toxic poison. This was the problem with the Sabres. Jack Eichel is not a player you want to build a franchise around. People around the league think Sabres fans are bitter with Eichel leaving but it's so funny because it's the entire opposite really.

A big issue with the Golden Knights is now their cap situation looks worse than Toronto, but their core guys are 4-6 years older. Not a great position to be in. The window is seriously closing. Almost everyone is past their prime now.

As a sabres fan i absolutely love seeing vegas crash and burn. Leghner made it so much harder to trade eichel, eichel bashed the whole sabres franchise and fanbase, and vegas gave us their pick. So i want to see them lose as much games as possible so we get a better pick which looks like we will have two top 15 picks in an absolutely stacked draft class.
